Driving the Ring of Beara was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland! This was a perfect stop for a late lunch after snacking along the way. Yummy chowder, vegetable soup and brown bread! Quaint little restaurant with good service.

We came here for dinner after researching places on trip advisor for our trip to kerry and we were not disappointed! Everyone loved their chosen dishes, the salmon was the best salmon we've ever tasted, so fresh and full of flavour. Great wine and Guinness too! The staff were all friendly and service was good. Would go again if I was ever back in the area.

The Blind Piper is a family friendly traditional pub serving good quality food. Live Music every Thursday from March - December.
We were taking pictures of this bright building and it looked like an interesting place so in we went. It looked busy so we asked for a quiet area and were taken to an empty room, given a heater and a menu. We were surprised by the choices and what we had was really good. It is a quaint place and comfortable.

Looking for somewhere to eat in Castletownbere we chanced upon this restaurant. It doesn't look much from the outside but we hadn't found anything else that had appealed to us so gave it a chance. Very pleasantly surprised the food and service were good and was excellent value for money. Few people eating in the restaurant but a steady steam using the takeaway service.

We were very impressed with the quality of cooking . One could say - it was really the best home cooking quality. The gentleman who is the host is very well organized, pleasant and hospitable and the service is great.

Lots of outdoor Seating and friendly staff. Good mix of locals and visitors and centrally located in the village. Murphys was good here and the crab sandwiches excellent, very fresh crab and side salads served on brown bread. The chowder and salmon sandwiches looked great also and the menu has a good selection.

A family run bistro specialising in local, artisan, free range and organic dishes, including spectacular vegan alternatives and home baked breads. A permanent collection of work by local artists from the 1970s and 1980s adds to the atmosphere of this little gem. Be welcome eat well.
the bistro is a pleasant surprise in the beautiful village of Eyeries.
we were lucky we had a booking as it was very busy. there is also a lovely setting outside weather permitting. Helpful staff with who served homemade food with good choices, wine & beer available. I would recommend this restaurant .

Had coffee + cake here when passing through the beautiful colourful village of Allihies. Terrace is nice but tables + benches need a good scrub. Service was very slow and staff did not seem well trained in terms of timing (coffee came first, then cakes, then milk and eventually sugar). Prices relatively high for Beara.
