We love walking around here - incredibly peaceful, great place for families and to watch the sunset.
Get some ice cream from the parlour closest to the water and go for a stroll.
The nuclear power plant is a damper on the views but rest assured we have our very own Homer Simpson manning the helm so nothing will ever go wrong and even if it does, at least you'll be enjoying some ice cream.

The buffet includes a very nice salad bar. It is simple, but definitely the best part of the dinner. The hot buffet includes a potato, two veggies, a boxed fish, chicken, pork and roast beef. They have a variety of desserts available. The atmosphere is as it states, it is a renovated barn. The cows names are hanging from the ceiling. There is "folk" singer who entertains until the theatre is ready to go. The theatre is upstairs. After dinner, everyone makes their way up. There is an intermission which allows you to get a drink or time to stretch your legs. The actors make this evening worthwhile. They are fun and entertaining.

We've lived in Pickering for 2 years and this was our 1st visit to Petticoat
AKA
What are we doing with our summer lives?!?!
The pool and splash pad area is AMAZING, perfect for little kids and adult kids!
The water in the pool was a little cold but you do get used to it after a while.
There are 3 large splash pads + a gigantic pool so even on busy days, there is more than enough room.
The staff is helpful and the lifeguards are very attentive, which is great for horrible swimmers like me.
Will visit again for sure!
Bring a picnic for an after swim snack fam

Pickering Markets is not your average Marketplace, previously known as the Flea Market, we have expanded our vendors to reflect the core values of our business model. An inclusive environment created over 40 years ago that began by inviting small local business owners a space at an affordable place, to sell their goods. The market grew to eventually hold over 500 vendors and now is the largest marketplace in the greater Toronto area. More importantly, it created a multicultural community within our four walls that buzz with energy every Saturday and Sunday.
If you want to pick up a cellphone cover, cheap suitcase, t-shirts, baseball caps, cheap picture frames, antiques or other knick-knacks, or are into knives and swords, then this is the place for you. No HST, and you can even haggle a bit at some...MoreHi Lannkay, Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We do have a ton of great deals on not just your regular flea market fare but other great items as well! We do especially love our food court as well! -Management

One of Canada's largest antique malls. With over 22,000 enclosed square feet we offer antiques and collectibles that change daily. Just south of the 401 and East of Brock Road, we are open 7 days a week, 362 days of the year.
Good location, free parking. There's quite a lot to look at but the prices are shocking at times especially compared to american antique malls. Some finds are true antiques, others just "junk" from 10-20 years ago - but to each his own. Worth a visit as you never know what you might find.

We have been to Luke and Sandy lots of times. We have a couple of wood carvings around our property.
From small carvings at the pond to bigger carvings right into a tree on your property - Luke can do it all.
Check out their website;www.lukeandrews.com and find your piece of ART.
We watched him carve - it is amazing.
The "Outdoor Showroom" is open most days and invites for a stroll through the manicured Property.
