Kids absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back in the summer and spend the whole day at the swimming pool!
The park is very clean, has lots of different animals which you can feed as well which is very exciting for young children. We also chose to have a family camel ride which was a great experience for everyone. The prices are very low for a park which has so many animals and activities for all ages. He honestly did not expect to see all these things with the amount of money we paid.
Most importantly we are extremely satisfied with the conditions of the animals. They all looked happy and healthy. See you soon Camel Park x

The interior with its famous work of art is one of the most iconic churches that I have visited.
Particularly noticeable are the unusual Seating arrangements, each worshipper sits in a high backed chair with wings at head height, as if to stop you from being distracted from your worship.
A very special place.

Petreon Sculpture Park is the culmination of a dream and 14 000 hours of work. An ever-growing collection of large scale sculptures in a permanent open-air exhibition is the main - but not the only - park attraction. An extensive collection of small sculptures are scattered throughout the grounds. In the small stone church you can get intimately acquainted with the byzantine icon tradition through the collection of hand-painted icons and the "Archontariki" gallery is hosting various Exhibitions, including small scale sculptures and paintings. The small Amphitheatre "Liasidion" plays host to a number of poetry and music nights on summer evenings. Plant lovers have the opportunity to see more than 200 different varieties of cactuses, as well as a vast array of Mediterranean fruit trees and plants.
Petreon Sculpture Park is a dream-come-true of one person, Savvas, who regretfully passed away a few weeks before our visit.
However, his charming and hard working daughter and son-in-law are keeping the place running and are continuing the vision of Savvas.
Petreon is an outdoor sculpture park with some beautiful works in stone. Take a leaflet at the entrance (there is a small entrance fee) and stroll through the garden and read about what is behind each of the sculptures.
Be sure to visit the tiny chapel at the rear of the garden.
The visionary's house itself is not open to visitors but make sure you give it a good look. Even from the outside the stonework that has gone into the house is very impressive.
Petreon isn't terribly easy to find. However, on the road between Kiti and Zygi, close to Mazotos, it is clearly signposted.
Definitely worth the detour and give it some time!! Take your time!!

Kahuna Surfhouse is an IKO (International Kitesurfing Organisation) pro kitesurfing and paddle board centre founded in 2008. We offer kitesurfing, Surfing and paddle board lessons, rentals, progression, repair service, Safaris and tours. We are situated in Kiti, Softades Beach Larnaca Cyprus, the only kitesurfing beach licensed under the Cyprus republic government. Kahuna Surfhouse is fully equipped with bar, music, surf shop, showers and bathrooms and new, top condition equipment to make your experience a surf paradise. It's a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere, mixing local and international cultures and the relaxed sea vibe with extreme sport.
Unlike the other spots in Cyprus only open during the summer, kahuna is a real kitesurfing spot.
Elias is doing an amazing job for kitesurfing in Cyprus. Good atmosphere when the wind is not there. The bar helps for sure
Lessons were good. The equipment is brand new. The beach makes it easy for beginners (even though there are a few rocks that need to be avoided)

You can walk around the entire lake, but should be well prepared with water, good shoes, sunscreen and hat. There are no toilets along the trail.
We started from a point close to the UN complex near the airport. Buses stop nearby. The trail entrance is near the shore and clearly marked. The first 4 km are well maintained with a clearly laid out trail and distance markers. There was very little shade in the middle of the day. You end up at the aquaduct. That part of the trail is mostly near the urban fringe.
From the aquaduct a sign points to the mosque known as Halal Sultan Tekke. That is another 4km walk on dirt roads surrounded by agricultural fields. There is no shade nor signage. We did not walk up to the mosque but it makes for nice pictures.
From the mosque there is a new, elevated and well prepared trail for about a km. No signage, but you can see and hear the airport. Then you have to walk a couple of km along a very busy road until you reach the sea shoreline. The remaining couple of km are pleasantly aligned with the sea. You will also pass by several cafes. Then you arrive at Larnaca castle and are back in town.
The entire walk took us about 3.5 hours, including stops to admire flamingos in the far distance, have an ice cream at the entry to the airport road, etc.

The monastery is located on the top of a mountain 750 m above sea level.
The monastery was founded by Helena, the mother of emperor Constantine I. The story says that during a pilgrimage to the holly land she found the original crosses of Jesus and the 2 thieves that were crucified with him and tried to bring them to Constantinople but because a shipwreck they ended up in Cyprus and one of the crosses refused to leave the island and was placed at the monastery of Stavrovouni.
Back to our reality, the road is incredible and the view, as I said, breathtaking.
No women are allowed to enter the monastery, only up to the parking lot at the base of the building.
Starting at the axes road there are various very nice short trails, around 2 KM.
