Borra caves is located at a distance of about 90 Kms from Vishakapatanam on the way to Araku. Located on the east coast of India the Borra caves are situvated in the Anathagiri hills of Araku valley. It is said that British geologist William King discovered this caves in 1807.This cave is longest anddeepest cave in India. There are many steps to go down and again climb up.The lighting arrangements in the cave makes it a facinating place to visit. There is an entry fee to see the caves and also for camera. It is must vist place. One can travel to Borra Caves by road or by train. The train ride is exciting since it passes through many tunnels. We could not get train tickets and hence travelled by road.

I went to Yarada Beach. This beach offers a fabulous landscape with its exotic blend of golden sands and the lush green stretch of hills. Nestled between the hills on all the three sides and the Bay of Bengal on one side, this beach is an ideal spot for outing. It is great place to go.

It's a delight to walk around this beautifully maintained hill, amidst flowers and shady trees, up and down winding roads that are well maintained and clean. The biggest attraction is a ride on the glass compartment of the toy train that goes chugging along a quaint track, offering a 360 degree view. Don't miss the train trip.

Araku valley is a hill station close to Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. Though not comparable to other hill stations of south India like Ooty and Kodaikanal, it is a good option to cover if you are visiting Vizag along with Borra caves. There are some beautiful sunset views of Paddy fields in the Araku valley hills worth a visit.

This is a must visit place for all visitors to Visakhapatnam. The name came due to the existance of Rama Krishna Mission, nearly 80 years. It is still exists and many visit the Ashram. They maintain a Temple, guest houses and a Library. The beach is beautiful. Many people walk on beach road. In the morning the road blocked for vehicular traffic between 0500AM to 0730 AM, to facilitate pollution-free walking.
It has a beautiful Durga Temple.
There are decent Restaurants and places for children activities. Rama Krishna Beach has Submarine Museum and Aircraft Museum.
One can taste many local snacks from small vendors, especially PIDATHA KINDA PAPPU.
Come any enjoy !!
But keep it clean !!
