You have to pay an entry fee for this attraction (I think it was just under 30 CHF for two kids and one adult; cash only for totals under 40 CHF). There's a swimming pool, small cafe, sand volleyball courts and loads of play structures for little kids. We only used the play area. Probably best for 4-6 year olds. Plenty of restrooms and changing areas. Sandy beach. Quick boat ride from Lucerne (piers are just across from the main Lucerne (Luzern) train station. Mini golf nearby (which was interesting--no artificial turf--just painted cement course), but also had to pay over 21 CHF for three players (and they only took cash).

Zug has a small but very nice medieval centre that no visitor should miss; the central clock-tower allows a 360° view of the city and the lake. take your time and enjoy the visit!

The drive to the caverns was through a long and skinny forest road, just when I thought I was going the wrong way, we finally arrived.
The self-guided tour doesn't take that long, but it is pretty interesting to see how the various structures were created over time. There are two parts to the cavern, and upper and lower section.

The Raiffeisen Skywalk suspension bridge - that is why you come here - is really amazing... Quite long, solidly built, it oscillates impressively while you cross, so much that one must pay attention when crossing someone walking in the opposite direction, not to heap on them.. Not advised if you suffer of vertigo or if you can be seasick (same sensation as on a fast ferry with high seas crosswise) but otherwise lots of fun and an eyeful.

Unique location on top of Rigi mountain with panoramic view. Good quality of treatments and choice of jacuzzi. The only downside is that no photos are allowed (it's a pity as view is really great), and no bar, so if you want some drink or snack you need to go out to another place. Bathrobes and towels are provided at a charge.

The location is stunning, next to lake and Villette park, if only they could improve the selection of food, things would be perfect. I appreciate the kitchen may be small, but food and salad are a little under-inspired and thoughtless. Maybe bring on some women and spice things up with some creative menu suggestions to make us want to come back to eat, time and time again. Because there really isn't a nicer location in Cham. I was more impressed with the Badi at Casino Zug so I personally believe the Hirsgarten has huge potential that is not being exhausted.

Weggis is quite small but the walk along the prom makes a pleasant stroll. There are a couple of cafes where you can stop for a break.
