This was my first time on the single-tracks and what a discovery! Lot of fun and adrenaline! However make sure you're bike is in a good condition and start with easier tracks on the Czech side (blue track). Then you can try the red ones which are more challenging. I'll be back for sure!

80km of flowy trails specifically designed for the enjoyment of riding MTB wind through the slopes of the majestic mountain of Smrk. Singltrek Centrum - the trailhead facility - serves best food around and is great place to chill out after the ride
Singltrek is perfect, there are many tracks for all bikers in marvellous nature. It is possible go there with small children (we started, when my son was 4y) and go biking. After biking is possible go swimming to very near lake.

We were there in late spring, and gondola was opened for summer mountain bike rides and hikers. The ride starts at elevation 617 meters (asl), and ends at 1060 masl. Total length 2170 meters. On a sunny day it is a pleasure to get to the top of Izerski Stog for a great view!!! There is a mountain shelter with the restaurant (good beer), and kids playground (advertised as the highest elevation one in Poland). The hiking trails will lead you in the different destinations. Some people would hike down to the bottom station, but it is rather steep slope and probably better for a bike ride than for the walk. We returned by the gondola.

Standing at the Panorama deck of the Stóg Izerski Schronisko one can behold the lands leading up to the Mountains, with the Śnieżka visible in the distance. Excellent photo opportunity. Great walking trails, a bit tricky after snowing, but we had a great New Years Day outing, with great food in the Schronisko at the end.

A great little walk. About 1.5 hrs up and 1 down but this was in heavy snow so you could probably halve these times.
A stunning location for a walk. We parked just East of Death Corner (Zakret Smierci) on the South side. Im not sure that you can drive any further in a private vehicle. Im not 100% on Polish traffic signs so I parked in a layby in the road.
We then started the gentle climb up. You get to a small wooden covered Seating area to take a break if you need to. You take the sign here for Wysoki Kamien (a right fork in the path). It gets a little steep here and for the elderly it could be a problem. You keep going and you get to the lookout at the top. Here awaits a hot coffee, cool beer and warm welcome.
It was for us stunning scenery on the way up but sadly due to heavy snow the grand views were slightly diminished. However still a beautiful ascent and I would highly recommend.

The Geo Park is a relatively new tour of old/historical mine of Sw. Jan in village Krobica, north of Swieradow. Just turn east from Road no. 361 toward Krobica and follow the signs for Geo Park.
The underground tour is amazing!!!!! After a brief introduction you'll enter into the tunnels of old mine. The hard-heads are provided, and guide will stop and explain all points of interest. First it is a dipper section of St. Leopold shaft/adit from XVII century. The half way you'll enter the shaft of St Jan from XVI century, go up eleven meters on spiral stairs, to return back by the upper tunnels. Some segments of the tunnel are very narrow and tilted out of vertical position.
However, the total length of tour is short, and we always felt safe.
There was no fee for the tour since some of the grants from construction of the underground tour were left and they are using them for guides and maintenance.

Takie dwa w jednym ...
