Not the bigest or best church you will ever see but nonetheless a delightful and beatifully maintained church.
A helpful local man gave us some of the chuch history which made our visit that bit more special.
Worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is a must see if you enjoy untouched Historical Houses. I rate this with the Vanderbilt Biltmore House in Asheville, NC USA.This is a hidden Jewel but unfortunately if you have disabilities as my wife, this has very limited in accommodation. Hopefully they will provide better disability access in the future. People than can manage stairs are in for a real treat with great access to historical treasures from around the world. Venetian Glass pieces from Moreno , Italy are splendid. This is one of the best attractions of my vacation.

A large statue looking out over the harbour, nothing special, The harbour is a pleasant area to while away some time on a sunny day, the statue will occupy you for 5 mins at the most,

I was doing the Atlantic wall and had to catch a boat to Sweden in the afternoon. Spent 3 hrs here looking round. Great view of the coast and city of Frederkishavn from a superb gem. Would be good if they could open more of the bunkers to go inside but lack of cash stops them. Lets hope they manage it in the future. Yes I would go back for a 2nd look

Man føler sig hensat til Østrig, når man går i skoven langs åen, der slynger sig et stykke under stien. Det er sjælden flot og unikt i Danmark.

This garden will develop into something spectacular, but as it was in April 2017 it was more like in the start. Also, the time of the year did not pay full justice to the garden. It is a great addition to the museum and the lovely surroundings in the area.

Som de fleste små glasspusteri i Danmark. Pene ting og kjøpe, gøy å se blæsing av glass. Sæby er ellers et veldig hyggelig sted å vandre og glasspusteriet er absolutt et positivt innslag i byen!

The Castle is very old and it has been renovated for a lot of millions of Danish Kroner. It was in bad condition, but now it is nearly renovated all over. It is possible to have a party at the Castle, both in the cellar and in the Knights Hall.

This is a small local museum. It is in a quaint building and gives some interesting local history facts and artifacts mainly about the seafaring nature of the town.
It is not worthwhile to make a special trip to the town to visit this but if you are in the area and want to learn some local history, this is the place to go. We enjoyed it.

Super hyggelig butik, med mange utrolige flotte glas ting. Min ven fik lavet en rigtig flot figur, efter eget forslag, til hvordan, han kunne tænke sig den. Den levede fuldstændig op til hans forventning.
