I visited restaurant Ostergade 1 last week with my customers in Randers. They chose the "Mystery" Menu. We were treated to a culinary delight. Four courses matched with wine.
The flavours were superb and the service was first class. If you want to experience am excellent restuarant in Randers, then Ostergade 1 should be at the top of your list.
Thank you very much.

The signature for Hvidsten Kro is the "Recipe" which dates back 70 or more years. This is a list of various foods, cold, warm, cold cuts, etc. all put together by one of the former owners together with the local Vet. I guarantee - you will not be able to finish this off, so take my advice and order only a half portion and you will survive this attack on your tastebuds and stomach to have the second half the day after. WONDERFUL food!

True american experience

Bone's is a Danish family restaurant shaped by American values that revolves around good food and good times. Bone’s opened the first restaurant 25 years ago in Herning, and since then the chain has grown to a total of 23 restaurants distributed throughout the country.

With room for the whole family:
To the little ones we have balloons and toy bags, and for the grown ups we have big comfortable sofa seats with room for the elbows. And, of course, the children have their own playroom so you can take a well deserved rest.

American mood:
Step inside Bone's and you'll get kicked back into old United States right away. The walls are decorated with road signs, license plates, snow shoes, model flags, flags, hockey sticks and much more. Everything is brought home from American flea markets, so you can enjoy our spareribs in authentic surroundings.
Food was good, but on the expensive side. Service fine. The restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night (as was downtown Randers) which we found a little odd, but we left satisfied. This is the kind of restaurant where you kind of now what...MoreHi Sveos. Thank you very much for your review :-) We really appreciate it! Have a lovely day. //Christina, marketingmedarbejder.

Stephansen Hotel & Restaurant is the city's cozy hideaway. The old charming buildings embrace the cozy courtyard which, along with our helpful staff, creates the special atmosphere that makes our guests feel right at home. All meals can be enjoyed in our cozy restaurant where we light up the fireplace on a rainy day while on a sunny day, guests are welcome to enjoy food and Sunshine in a perfect harmony in our lovely courtyard.Stephansens Hotel is located in the heart of Randers, which, with its old half-timbered houses, quaint streets and small squares, form the framework for an active city with many shopping and entertainment opportunities.
Dined at the restaurant twice. The food was really fine – although a little over priced. The staff was friendly, but not really professional. However I would rather have a friendly waiter without perfect skills than the opposite.
I think I might try to stay at this hotel next time I stop by in Randers.

Cafe/restaurant located in the center of Randers. It is connected to the Hotel Randers, one of the oldest hotels in Denmark.
The café has a quite stylish and modern interior design, as a contrast to the hotel that has been kept in the original state with wood-crafted ceilings, original wall-paintings etc.
In the cafe/restaurant you can enjoy anything from a couple of coffees to a full scale dinner with wine. I can't speak for the food as we only visited the place as a Café, but the menu looked very appetizing. I would like to come back here and try it out.
The cappuccinos we got were very good and the Danish apple-cake I had next to it was delicious. Prepared in the traditional Danish way with macron and whipped cream on top.

We a family of 3 had lunch at Highway 51, the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded. The decor does take you back to a proper US diner and taking into consideration that it is located at the Memphis Mansion which is an Elvis museum, the music and the decor was very in keeping with the Elvis theme. Now back to the food, my husband and son ordered the burger menu, I ordered the snack basket and the potato skins! When we received our food the burgers looked great however my potato skins were burnt! I called the waitress over and pointed it out, the waitress was very helpful and quickly offered to replace them. I then received a second portion of Potato skins, these were not burnt but dry and tasteless! Fortunately the rest of food served to us was good. I will however go for the brunch plate next time as I could see many of the other guest were enjoying that. All in all a not so bad experience.

With a bit larger group here we recently had a good experience. We enjoyed good and flexible service and had sizeable, tasting portions. Main course as well as dessert. We in particular enjoyed the wienerschnitzel and the Belgian waffle. When asking asking for extra supplementaries for the wienerschnitzel it was promptly offered and served. The have a number of special brews on tap, which we also enjoyed.
