It is a very nice, old Slovenian town with a great view over the Alps. Houses in this town come from the 14th, 15th centur, there are galleries and museums. We loved the oldest ginger bread bakery: Lectar and the restaurant situated there.

Bled Golf Course is the oldest and the largest Slovenian golf course. Its origins date back to 1937 and many visitors claim it to be one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. The facility comprises the 18-hole King's Course and the 9-hole Lake Course. To make your round of golf even more varied, you may combine playing on both courses. The course is set apart by its unique location overlooked by the highest of the Slovenian Alps and the wonderful countryside embracing it. It attracts amateurs and professionals from all over the world. We are proud that the Bled Golf Course is the only Slovenian golf course on the Golf World Magazine list of Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe in year 2017. We were ranked at 48th place.
Bled Golf & Country Club is the oldest course in Slovenia. The King's course dates back to 1937 and the Lake's course back to 1993. The King's course was the first golf course built in former Yugoslavia, originally established on the initiative of the Yugoslav Royal family.
It’s located some 30 km from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana close to the Austrian border. It’s one of the most beautiful courses I’ve played with its parkland design, wonderful mountain (the Alps) views and the scenic Bled Lake.

We are an officially licenced incoming tourist agency based in Lake Bled, Slovenia. We offer private transfers and custom made 1-day private tours to clients visiting Slovenia and some parts of Italy, Austria and Croatia. We operate a small fleet of luxury 8-seater minivans and all of our driver/guides are experienced, friendly and English speaking.
This was a wonderful trip customized for us by Mr. Graeme Chuter. We only had one day and wanted to see both Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. This is a lot of ground to cover so if you can spare two days that would be ideal. Mr. Chuter is an excellent driver and took us to some amazing sights. I am a photographer and he stopped and pointed out the best places to photograph. Outstanding day for all of us.

A great selection of high quality vines from Slovenia. High quality vines could be great a souvenir from the country.

This is not for the faint hearted, nor those who aren’t reasonably fit. Although Google Maps will tell you it’s 20 minutes up from the lake, I would give yourselves about 40-50 minutes to reach the top.
It’s extremely steep and there are parts which are rather treacherous. Ensure you take water and appropriate footwear!

We visited with 2 children in July. There is loads of parking on a mountain meadow nearby, though there are plenty of buses too. Queue was a little slow to pay entrance fee. It's hot and sunny, but there is plenty of shady sections. It's absolutely beautiful. Stop half way along and go to the river bank and build stone cairns. Keep walking to the very end. Walk down the steps on the end of the high bridge to play in the river below, or walk across the bridge and follow the path through the woods to the river below. Have a well deserved ice cream on the bridge. Enjoy the view again on the way back! Nice drive through the countryside on the way back to Bled, just a few miles away. Highly recommended.

Lots of artifacts of the Slovenian bee keeping. Interesting movie alternating in English and Slovenia. I particularly liked the painted wood which bees could recognize to differentiate each hive. There are a number of different honeys for sale but you can't sample them. To the right of the information center is a small market which has a number of different honeys you can sample. We bought 2 different kinds.

Adventure Mini Golf Panorama is a successful combination of nature, sport and fun. Located in the forest you can experience a unique game of mini golf on beautiful fake grass while admiring the gorgeous Panorama view.
The place itself is set in pristine nature, but easily accesible. Upon our arrival I was struck by how immaculate it all looked. No litter, pretty toilet facilities, all nicely set.
We were a group of 6 adults and one baby (8 month old).
The 12 holes at Minigolf are a nice activity, wonderfully set, funfunfun. Even for the easily bored couple that was a part of our group. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was amused by the gold searching activity which is a fun thing for the kids and I would have thought of it but the kids around were thouroughly enjoying it.
The staff is wonderfully pleasant and helpful, which is a plus wherever you are.

Straza is a smaller hill most suitable for a relaxing walk and summer or winter sport activities. It is considered to be the most beautiful viewpoint in the area that offers incredible view of the city of Bled, lake Bled, castle and surrounding Mountains. In summer you can enjoy in adrenaline-drenched sledding (summer tobogganing) or visit Adventure Park. You can take a relaxing walk through meadows and woods on the Rikli Fitness Trail. In winter you can ski on a small, but settled ski slope that is lit for night skiing and offers organized ski school, equipment rental and Sporty's Children Snow Park. Straza ski slope is accessible by car or by foot as it is only a few minutes' walk from the center of Bled.
We visited Straza on th 2nd September 2017 and it drizzling. Chairlift was closed so we went up the hill on foot. The view from the top is stunning but everthing was closed due to the drizzle. My suggestion is to visit in fine weather.
