Our tour group came here for a late lunch after being in the Lake Bled area. I believe all of us not only enjoyed seeing the expert ladies making the wonderful gingerbread items downstairs but all thought our lunch was delicious. The dessert of green apple gelato inside a green apple was definitely the ultimate ending to a delightful meal.

Placed in the central square of Radovljica, the Restaurant as a good cvapacity of seats spread in different rooms. The appearance is very good and personnel is warm enough to make you at ease. However, we were expecting more: dishes did not show a particular character and just balanced with the price. Maybe we were only unlucky...To be tried again

We were here for a set menu as part of a group. We enjoyed a nice reception with canapés and wine. Our set menu included a generous starter of proscuitto ham and olives. We enjoyed the cream of pumpkin soup and a balkan salad which was fresh and tasty. Our main included a Slovenian skewered chicken with veggies, corn and polenta. To finish our meal we enjoyed the Bled Cream Cake. Service was very good and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend and return.

This restaurant is only 2 mins walk from the Park Hotel. Beautifully decorated and very quaint I had high expectations. The food was mediocre , Just felt a little disappointed .

Went there in July because all the other restaurants were full or closed.
The ambient was poor so do not go there if you love nice views or surraroundings.
But be sure to go there for the food, we could not belive how great the food was! Each of us ordered something different and everything was so good.
I am sure next time in Radovljica I know exactely where I am going to eat something

The a-la-carte restaurant in Via Podvin is run by one of Slovenia's best chefs - Uros Stefelin. Uros finds challenges in discovering forgotten local ingredients, getting to know them and creating new dishes in his own unique way. With modern techniques and creativity he transforms traditional dishes into culinary delights of Slovene Nouvelle Cuisine. Our restaurant is decorated with local Slovene souvenirs. Each telling a tale of its past and the wealth of Slovenian cultural heritage. We wish to add to this collection by sharing our culinary souvenirs with you; visit us, taste the dishes and when leaving, leave with good memories and the recipes of the dishes you have tasted.
After wandering around Bled we decided to have something special for lunch. The Bled itself is special enough, but to finish the walk around the lake in such authentic restaurant like this one it's very special indeed. I loved the modern versions of the meals that forefathers once ate. Every dish deserves to be mentioned because here everything is delicious, but who would read long list? Well if you want to you can check mine blog (to the name just add .com :)), cuz I did it! In short, I think that typical regional breakfast, served in an eggshell does leave an impression. The filling was deliciously seasoned and made of “polenta” which is a corn mash, egg yolk, rinds and potato foam and crispy bacon on top. This would be one delicious breakfast to eat every day for longer period, as it was so delicious that I scraped out everything and even damaged the shell a little :)
For even shorter description is all I can say: Delicious!

Local and regional dishes will be made in contemporary and sophisticated way with an aim to preserve the gastronomical heritage of Upper Carniola region and Slovenia.
My partner and I had just arrived in Bled so couldn't check into our hotel room yet so we climbed to the top of the hill to Bled Castle , the entrance was around £10pp but well worth it. The views are gorgeous of the Mountains, lake and island, great photo opportunity. There is also a cute honey shop , cafe and blacksmith shop

We have eaten at the Mayer on numerous occasions but not for a few years and were not disappointed with our recent visit.
It was great to see the same waiter serving quality food at a reasonable price for around Bled.
The beef carpaccio and smoked trout were excellent. The venison was tender and delicious. I must say the pumpkin parfait was unusual but very tasty. The local wines are always good here.
Three people, three courses and plenty of wine €130.
Another great visit and we will be back next year!

The Confectionery with longest tradition in Bled. Here you will find a large selection of home made Deserts, ice cream, great coffe...
Had a nice coffee and cake here. I’ve put very good as it deserved more than an average rating really.
Wasn’t impressed with lake Bled though. Very touristy and cramped. Got a couple of blasts on the horn from what I assume were fed up locals. This was the only place this happening during the week.

Recommmendation were made from the concierge service of the hotel we were staying in, and were not disappointed, quite contrary. It is one of those places It cant be missed, mamma cooking, father playing the piano and 2 brothers who are running the show. Food delicious and well cooked, service - the true example of the traditional slovenian hospitality.
