Came from the nearby Michi No Eki. Found a bridge nearby that allows you to take a lift up for some sight.
The park is a nice open park. Not much trees for shade as it was getting a bit hot when we were there in June 15. There is nice flowers arrangement too due to the season. The entrance to the ship has got a fee too but not the park. Basically a nice big place to walk about and there is a playground nearby as well.

Toutist information signs are posted along the way and finally you’ll come to a tourist information sign which points left for the Tomb of Toshinaga Maeda and right for the Zuiryuji Temple. They have a nice walkway with nicely trimmed pine trees, statues, benches for relaxing, etc. This temple is a designated national treasure, the only national treasure in Toyama prefecture. 500-yen to enter.

I made it a one day trip from Kyoto although I gotta spent about 7 hour on the train. The train from Takaoka to Amaharashi station was Ninja-Hatori train, well it's really cute. On the way there, the train went along the beach and that made the ride more interesting.
At the beach, it's very hot but the weather was very good. Unlucky that the sky was not so clear so I couldn't see Takayama mountain range from the beach which I saw once in a photo that took me here.
The beach was really peaceful and the view was amazing. I just love it.
If you have time I'd recommend staying here for a night or two waiting for the sky to be clear so you can see the mountain range rise from the sea.

You could see beautiful reflection of the moon on Toyama bay when you are drinving at the night of full moon or super moon. It looks like as if the moon is floating just above a lake.

Manyosen Tram line from Takaoka Station (not the Shinkansen station) to Koshinokata, near the Toyama Bay, operate Doraemon Train. The Doraemon Blue body and the pink door! Doraemon anime characters inside the train, too. It is a really fun tram ride. Manyosen operates one Doraemon Tram, so you have to check with their timetable. The Doraemon operation timetable changes frequently, due to maintenance. In general the trams, Doraemon Tram and other trams, run every 15 minutes. The old one-car type trams are also picturesque!
Why Doraemon Tram in Takaoka? The writer of the Doraemon anime, Fujio F. Fujiko was born in Takaoka.

The Hydorangea Festival is held during the rainy season.
We can see the hydorangea which is in bloom in everywhere inside this park.
A lot of colorful hydorangea looks better in nature.
You can take it easy, just walking and watching flowers alone,
or enjoy the festival with your friends!
