"Nice place to visit beautiful view if the north sea from the top of the lighthouse, also very interesting history about how Lighthouses were operated in the old days. "

We had a really nice time a the Ocenarium. Some of the Aquariums were really cool, especially the large one (stay for the shark feeding if possible). We also enjoyed the seal pool and the tunnel underneath the pool were you could get a closer look.
The only real downside was the quite expensive entry fee plus the rather overpriced food in the restaurant. I would recommend bringing you own snack if possible.

It is very powerful to stand on the top of the high cliffs and see the graves of the cemetery slowly fall into the sea.
The church was saved in small pieces awaiting a donor who would fund the rebuild somewhere safe, but in the end no-one showed and the pieces are now lost.
The wooden bell tower is still there as is the Anchor and memorial of the 228 dead from the English Crescent in 1808.
Great place to watch the sunset. (see photos)

As its free to visit it's worth a look round. Some of the bunkers are inaccessible due to being locked up but it give a good impression of what it must have been like

This is one of the best glass art stores I've ever been. The store is managed by two danish guys. Besides their fragile and beautiful pieces of art, ask them for glass scrap. I bought a light blue piece of overblown glass scrap which is a true eyecatcher and which pleases the contemplative eye.

Bought these beautiful cups. They are from a collection called 'Landscape'. Well crafted and great service too. Highly recommendable place to visit.

if you´re in the area you must see this unique mansion. A private collector loved the danish Artist J. F Willumsen and bought a lots of his sketches and paintings. The mansion is filled with these, a very unique collection and the larges outside the J.F Willumsens museum in Frederikssund.

At the time when I was at the museum they had an exhibition by 4 artists working to find the stranger sides of Denmark - the exhibition was interesting and had a film documentary running. Unfortunately, the location for this 'installation' was not well chosen and the sound was not loud enough, so every time someone would enter the museum, you could not hear anything.
The permanent parts of the museum had ceramics as well as contemporary art and a local artist collection in the basement. Over all, I had a good time and they even managed to make me laugh. As I was leaving, I was given a poster - I believe this had to do with me filling out a form regarding my visit.
