I always enjoy the filet, but have heard others complain about the quality of their meals. There is a good selection of ala carte side dishes that can boost the price of the meal.

Cozy restaurant good service and very good food with a modern French touch I loved the cream of cauliflower and scallops the cream had a very soft and nice consistency and the scallops were at their crunchy spot on the outside and very tender then the risotto I liked very much cooked at the moment not like many restaurants that do and put it in the fridge and when they ask for it they pour cream and broth and they warm it (it does much) And the dessert cone can see in the photo as spectacular as good many textures of chocolate and raspberry the best end to a great dinner if i go back to Norway i will definitely be back

Very cosy, homelike. The coffee was not so good. We ate cakes (carrotmuffin and pecan-cake) and they tasted very good, especially the carrot-muffin.
Besides the food, it is in a cosy retro-style, with things from 50's and 60's decorating the rooms. They also sell home-made, retro-designed table-cloths, clothes for children, jewelry and so on. An interesting place.

Nice cuisine, friendly staff, nice decoration, nice wine list, quick serving. Well you can't ask for more...

By chance we had the buffet which was a good selection of hot and cold food, Deserts etc. As soon as your plate was empty, it was taken away, with your knife and fork left to encourage you to go for seconds.

Traditional beer house with local snacks. Beers feom all over the world, and some winws also. Rather quick service. The most traditional restaurant in Kongsberg.

We are having a short stop in Kongsberg, and for our one meal we chose this restaurant. I chose one of their "popular" meals, which was the Spinach and Salmon Pie. I opted to have my warm, and it was amazing! This was the best salmon I've ever had. My husband had the oven baked lasagna, and he said it was "a four out of five" but the overall restaurant experience was a
5.

We are international a la carte restaurant. The guests can choose between 5 rooms with different interior. Inside you can see a lot of beautiful and interesting antiques. The whole restaurant has been refreshed. If you enjoy having dinner in nice atmosphere and cosy place you are welcome to visit Peckels Resept in Kongsberg.
We wanted to find a restaurant that provide authentic Norwegian Cuisine I am so glad we found this absolutely diamond. The restaurant is located about ten minutes from the centre of Kongsberg. As a party of 10 people we asked the restaurant to provide a typical Norwegian meal and they did not disappoint. On arrival we were greeted by a very nice Waitress, very friendly, knowledgable and she provided an impeccable service. We were served an aperitif of local Aquavit, as we were shown to our seats, housed in the back room near the open kitchen which tortured us with tantalising aromas of our meal. Our first course was cream of lobster soup perfectly matched with French White Wine suggested by our waitress. I am not a a keen shellfish person and so I was a little wary of what the soup would be like but all my worries were immediately alleviated and I was left wanting more. The main course was a trio of Norwegian Game grills, consisting of Reindeer, Vension and Moose steaks served with a mushroom sauce, potatoes and broccoli. The meal again perfectly matched with a Spainsh Red Wine. Last but certainly not least our desert of Creme brûlée was the final course which was absolutely stunning. To allow the food to be digested we finished our evening with Cognac and coffee which with the great ambience of the room was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Unfortuately I am unable to comment on the cost as the meal was paid by a local company but I am sure it was well worth the price.

I visited in the early afternoon and we were the only customers. The restaurant is modern and has a variety of different Seating arrangements both inside and outside.
We shared the medium sized tapas assortment with seven different dishes and bread (albondigas, Serrano, chorizo in red wine, king shrimps in chili, small potatoes with aïoli, bacon wrapped dates and tomato/onion salad with pesto).
Overall the food was very good and the portions more than enough for the both of us at 260 NOK p.p.
However, the overall experience could be improved by having the serrano ham much more thinly sliced and the tomato salad was both served very cold (straight from the fridge?) with too coarsely cut tomatoes that were not the freshest.
I also found it strange that we were not given a drink menu.
If these small issues were changed, I'd consider an even higher rating.
