For us Beaches should either be happening, partying places like in Goa or they should be secluded like Nirvana beach near Kumta. It is around 10km from the highway via the narrow town roads but it is worth it.
The beach is bit rocky with fine sand and apart from a few fishermen boats there is virtually nobody around. The sea water forms the backwater as it narrows down in the town and the whole scenic beauty is seen to be believed.

Kudle beach is rated 2 amongst the Beaches in Gokarna. One can walk down to the beach along the Gokarna Beach side road or drive down to the nearest parking place viz.Anjaneya janmasthala / Kudle Hilltop Parking and treck down the hill to reach the beach or can have a view from the Hilltop itself. On our part , we on our way and back OM BEACH stopped a while at Harrbali view point on roadside and viewed the beach..It is sunset time while returning and the sunset is awesome. As we are all elders we could not go. But if one has time and can trek down it is not to be missed.

Here is one of the uniq guest house with beach view and very peaceful environment and healthy service with room facilities.
Trek from Paradise beach brought us to this small sea beach. The beach is full of big and small rocks. The view of the sea is quite enchanting. Picturesque stunning views makes it a photogenic place. It is a serene, calm place

There is nothing special about this temple , this is like any other Ganesha temple .
This is just outside the main Gokarna Mahabaleshwar temple, all devotees have to pass this temple before joining main temple queue so it's a normal thing to visit thing .
One special thing is , devotees are allowed to touch main deity in inner sanctum , which is normally not possible in other temples , not sure if hindu temples normally allows that , the main bala Ganesha deity is beautiful and in standing position ,which is also rare.
No long queue expected here , it's like normal village where we can get quick darshan , not sure how it will be on special day.

We visited this fort on our way to Murdeshwar from Gokarna. Though this place is almost in ruins now, it still gives the idea of how grand this structure would have been. The surrounding of this fort is also very scenic. Though the Archaeological Survey of India has taken over its maintenance, it surely is ignored place from their side. I couldn't see any restrooms, any information boards describing history or importance of the place or any place where you can have some refreshments.

Gokarna beach is a few yards away from Main temple. In fact it is the parking place for vehicles getting the devotees to the Temple. Unlike other Beaches this is easily accessible. Good for elders, kids. A clean, safe, pleasant and peaceful beach. This beach is mostly visited by locals in the evenings while others are visited by foreign
tourists. A beautiful scene of sun set can be viewed.

The instructor does not demonstrate any Surfing. Most of the time he is only interested in flirting with girls and hardly pays attention to actual teaching. No wonder it wasn't a good experience and felt more of a rip off. Would not be recommending it...MoreHi Aditya, We are very sorry you felt this way about your surf lesson. We will look into the issue and ensure this does not happen again. Thank you, Cocopelli Surf Team
