Great marina with good facilities and restaurants. Very busy. Marina quite tight even when bringing in a 34 foot yacht, particularly with cross winds. Would definitely visit again but maybe on a busy weekend arrive in plenty of time to review options.

Take a walk in the beautyful nature surrounding the lighthouse and visit the exhibition that describes Danish lighthouse development from the 16th century to modern automation. You can go to the top and enjoy the magnificent view of Gilleleje.
Located at the end of a scenic walk (Fyrstien) the museum is an attraction which must be seen. Very interesting and a good view from the top of the lighthouse. Do not forget your camera !

How did people live, work, go to school and vacation in the fishing village of Gilleleje? Visit The Ship Hall Museum and experience a mid-1800 house. See the old fishing boats and learn more about the dangerous life at sea. A classroom from 1865 takes you back to school more than a hundred years ago. Visit the small vacation home from the 1950’s and 60’s – could you enjoy your vacation in a 10 m² cottage? Skibshallerne (The Ship Halls) are located in the middle of old Gilleleje surrounded by a beautiful old orchard. Enjoy cake and coffee in the garden before you venture out to explore the sights.
Great tour. There were no exhibits about the heroics of the Danish resistance and their assistance to the Jews in WWII, but the guide knew many of these stories from when he interviewed fisherman when he was in high school in 1967.

This place is much more in order than other flee markets - it's indoor, somewhat organized and plenty of space so you can actually see everything. They have furniture, kitchenware, DVDs, books, music, decoarations, etc etc - you can find anything
