I went to Taratarini Temple. Lakhs of devotees from different parts of Odisha and neighboring Andhra Pradesh throng this religious site throughout the year. One of the biggest and longest religious fairs of the country, Chaitra Mela is held here every year. It is great place to go.

Many settled in a small town of Jirang. The refugees lived their lives with an occupation of farming, fruit collecting and gardening. As we drove from Bhubaneswar, it took an immense time for us to reach Chandragiri. As you finish the town Chandragiri, you will only find the settlement of Tibetans. The hilly area is covered with a dense forest. En-route we witnessed a Tibet school. Some students were on a bicycle and some were walking.
met a monk who was guiding me about the refugee camp. The monks have come from Tibet, Thailand, Nepal & Sri Lanka. They all love this HOME. They call this place as “Phuntsokling” which means land of happiness! After the prayers, we entered the hall and I was stunned to see such a tall idol of Lord Buddha. The golden coloured statue with detailed facial expression is a great example of art. The ceiling, the walls and the corners, everything has paintings which express some characters, stories and knowledge. The Monastery has three large idols of Gautam Buddha from which the left idol represents ‘Guru Padmasambhava’.

The place was really good for nature lovers. But as we know the nature of some human being who turned this place to a picnic spot and make it real dirty.

We drove all the way from Berhampur to Buguda to see Biranchi Narayana temple. We were disappointed, because the information gleaned in the net, made us anticipate seeing the wonderful woodwork and wall paintings. Reality is different. Badly maintained woodwork. The paintings on the walls are almost gone. Nothing much to see. You can give it a miss.

Situated at a distance of 19 kms from Digapahandi and 45 kms from Berhampur, near Ghodahada Dam. One would aptly cherish for visiting a monument with rare and quaint features. The shrine of Ujjaleswar has been developed from a cave temple, on a hillock which is approachable by steps. A huge stone shadowing the deity forms the back side of the temple, which has been also chiseled to steps for facilitating a circumambulating around the shrine. Before reaching the unctuous site, one would come across the pleasing surrounding of Ghodahada Dam, which has submerged a fort named Vijayanagar and its temple. The Reservoir provides silence to a heard of elephants, crocodiles and pythons and sub-soil water for Horticulture farm of tube rose. However rollicking monkeys, deer park, a pond with lotus flowers, an age old Banyan tree testing one’s unfeigned devotion and unfurled natural back drop verdant the sanctity of Ujjeleswar. One can drive carefully a bike or a jeep up to the temple. In case of bus ride, visitors may have to walk ¾ kms.

This beach did not all stand up to my expectations .
It was unclean n not properly maintained.i think it is a fishing beach.
The silver lining here are the sand dunes on the way from Aryapalli beach to Mayfair Gopalpur-on-sea .
These sand dunes look beautiful n give you the Imagery of a desert.
On one side of road to can see swamp land like back Waters n on other side ate these sand dunes.
A must see these sand dunes are.
