This restaurant is worth visiting. Has a nice menu and the staff is very observant for your needs. Food is absolutely excellent and you will guaranteed not leave hungry. It is smack in the middle of town close to a parking garage and should not be difficult to find. A treat.

Visited on a relatively quiet Wednesday evening and found the welcome very friendly and very German
This is one of the few remaining traditional restaurants of the region and the menu reflects this with well cooked and nicely presented food plates
They also brew their own beer which was very nice !
Well worth a try

Situated outside of Ravensburg, not easy to be found with GPS, they have a limited menu but with very delicious meals of high quality and a focus on local food. The staff is very friendly and the maitre worked in the Waldhorn in Ravensburg before. Due to the weather I could not check the outside Seating. Reservations are recommended.

Jedes Detail stimmt. Jeder Moment ein Genuss. Seit Dezember 2016 trägt das Schattbuch einen „Michelin“-Stern.
Das Restaurant war komplett ausgebucht.
Das Menü mit Weinbegleitung war perfekt.
Service locker, sehr aufmerksam und ausgesprochen fit.
Wir kommen wieder!

Who would have thought you could come to Germany to have fantastic Italian cuisine. Here in the little picturesque town of Ravensburg on a pretty little street, is Vittorio Romano Pizzeria Kastanie. We sat on the patio, and enjoyed the very warm and inviting service. The restaurant was completely full on a Tuesday evening, which to me is an excellent indicator. I had the tomato soup appetizer which was incredible. Followed by the spaghetti bolognese which was simply amazing. My colleagues both had pizza which they said was excellent. The wine was great as well and very, very affordable. The owner is always around and you can tell he loves what he does, and his customers. What a fantastic place. Highly, highly recommended!!

Great food, all impeccable with nice presentation.
Recommend the starters of vegetable's tempura as well as the skewed cherry tomatoes with mozzarella. Really opens the meal. Nice presentation, excellent taste.
Also had the salmon tartare, good but seemed like to much of creationism effort salmon slight raw or slight cooked, both or neither, would have preferred just on of the end of the scale.
Had an oven potato with butter and quark cream, bacon and salad that was a feast of palate. The skew of scampi and steak also very good, gourmet that feels traditional.
The desserts I would avoid, just stroll after the meal by the streets and find something to my liking.

We came to this restaurant before exploring museums of Ravensburg city. The restaurant seem local favorites as it packed during lunch time. We order from wine , leber spaetzle , duck with red sauerkraut, cheese spaetzle and vegetarian noodles with champignon sauce. The taste was ok not so special the cheese spaetzle is too thick and not enough cheese. But the beer and the wine is great as always in Germany

We stumbled upon the Fiaker more or less by chance, and were very pleasantly surprised. Delicious German and Croatian food. Friendly people.

The breakfast is really good, nice price, lovely decorated, friendly service, a little outside of the centre. Still really good for a start in a new day.
