Overlooking the Atlantic the restaurant is on two levels both with views. Fresh fish pn display that you can select, the freshest always means good food. Great service, good recommendations. Cannot fault it - great value.

Restaurante e Cervejaria familiar com 48 anos, sempre com os mesmo mariscos fresquinhos e precos sempre acessiveis.
I, too, went to Eduardo das Conquilhas with high expectations. The setting was just about what I expected. The waiters were friendly, but clearly over-worked. I had fried squid which I enjoyed. Then I tried the crab; it was served cooked, but chilled. I'd never eaten an entire crab COLD before, and didn't find it pleasant. The body of the crab was filled with a goo that was terrible. The worst part for me was the lesson I learned about salted cod. I don't know how people get used to that - Ugh! It must be an acquired taste that I am unable to develop. If you don't like highly over-salted food, avoid bacalhau (cod) in Portuguese restaurants. I am not British, but definitely prefer my cod in British pub-style preparation rather than poached, with no flavor except for so much salt. This place was rather pricey for such a casual atmosphere too.

This restaurant is a gem. Highly attentive staff review the menu with you bringing a drinks trolley to your table followed by the selection of fresh fish brought out for you to select the finest fish to be cooked. Fresh lobster and crab live in a huge tank ready to be chosen.
The food is superb we had chateaubriand for two which was very tender but also cold as we were with a larger group and presumably they waited for all meals to be ready before bringing them to the table.
The food was served at the table by several attentive waiters.
The view, the ambience and the staff were superb. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. A great place for a special occassion.

Overlooking the sea, the Restaurant Choupana Gordinni gave undoubtedly new life to a space that for decades was one of the distinguished places at the Estoril Coast. At this modern and sophisticated space, decorated using clean lines and neutral colors, you will find an International cuisine with a balanced touch of refinement. Located on a hillside, just above the sea, the fantastic views and the menu, are no doubt, the ex-libris of the site. Between the sea and the sun, it will be hard to choose just a few words to describe and enumerate the various qualities of Choupana Gordinni Restaurant. From the marvelous sights until the personalized service always with a touch of refinement, the romantic sound of the piano (played during dinners on Tuesdays & Thursdays and Fridays or Saturdays), the minimalist decor straight and clear lines, to the Mediterranean cuisine, everything becomes indescribable ...
Really great place. In that old fashioned fancy style. Elegant but not posh. The waiters in nice white costumes. Got a table by the window so we could enjoy the nightlights by the ocean. We had the Tournedo Gorgonzola and Roquefort. Both really fantastic. A smart detail was that my meat - rare - was thicker than my companions meat which was medium. The sauces were so good. The Apple crumble was delicious. An interesting drink was the Port Flip. "Ancient" drink from the twenties. The house wine was marvellous.
I can really recommend this restaurant. Perfect for special occasions or just a perfect meal. Great service.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the front desk staff at our hotel and we were not disappointed. It's located near office parks around the Porto Salvo area of western Lisbon - I'm glad we took a cab. The three of us arrived at about 8:00pm on a Sunday evening. We were prompty greeted at the door, and shown to a table. The dining area was decorated in a modern motif, clean and neat; about 40% of the tables were occupied Our dinner consisted of a fish soup (which was delicious and a meal in itself) as the only appitizer, a perfectly cooked (medium rare) broiled beef steak, a seafood brochette (served vertically hanging from a stand) and grilled stuffed sea bass. The main dishes and the sides were all delicious and attractively presented. The portions were large; the Waitstaff was attentive, friendly and helpful. I recall our waiter took the time to describe the specials of the day in detail in English and did a good job. We had dessert ( choclate cake and a flan pudding) and coffee at the end of the meal. I was pleasently surprised when I learned the tab was only 92euros, which included bottles of water and a carafe of wine. When I returned home I learned that this restaurant is one of two restaurants with the same name and from the same company doing business in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant (on Largo do Chafariz) to anyone who is in the western surburbs of Lisbon, and is looking for a quality meal served by professionals. I look forward to returning and visiting their other location along the seacoast.

We went there for dinner with other two colleagues from the office. The food is very good: well cooked and very good quality. Leave some place for desert, they just simply out of this world. A bit expensive for Portuguese standards.

This is a normal "pasteleria" where you can buy correct (not outdtanding) sweets and also salted specials (rissois to heat up), this is ok.
Don't step in to sit down and have lunch here, food isn't up to the price asked and service doesn't care at all for the clients.
Just having a cake, sweet, dessert ... and a coffee should be ok.
It was crazy to observe that, in the morning of the 24th of December, tons of people were waiting in line to pick up their special Xmas cake (bolo rei)!!! I bet they waited over one hour :(
WATCH OUT if you park your car, don't forget to buy a ticket otherwise you'll get a fine. Often beggars or other people "selling stuff" (lotery tickets...) hang around on the sidewalk close to the entrance, police are chasing them away regularly...

Conceito Food Store With an elegant and comfortable space, located close to the city but far from the confusion , our main purpose is to create a unique experience of gastronomic discovery throughout the meal. We offer portuguese cuisine with contemporary influences and our open space kitchen works mainly with fresh products carefully selected in local markets and suppliers. We have our own gourmet store, where you can buy wine, jam and other products used on the confection of our dishes. Last but not least, we can also offer take-away, catering, workshops and brunch services. You can always count with the presence of our Chef, Daniel Estriga, that will welcome you like a friend, do his best to meet your expectations and is always available for a good chat. It is necessary to make reservation. We do not have Visa/Mastercard/Credit Card sistem!
Went for dinner. The location is odd but who really cares as inside it's very modern and we loved the open kitchen. The food is good to excellent (went for the five courses) at reasonable prices and the service very attentive and they actually really do care whether you like your meal. One thing we did not like was the cover charge of €2.20pp. We feel this belongs to cheap restaurants and although we are fully aware this is normal in Portugal and most Southern European countries, it just doesn't belong in a nice restaurant - just increase the prices a little.

The Aashiana is typically Indian in the heart of Carcavelos, where you can enjoy the most delicious specialties of Indian cuisine. Opened in mid-2009 and revealed itself early on one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants of the Estoril Coast. Cozy place, exquisite taste and refinement, providing its customers with relaxing moments in an environment of great comfort. In Aashiana every detail has been designed with the utmost care, from the decor to the service, so that you can enjoy a nice meal.
Today we decided to stay away from meat and eat vegetarian. The choice for Indian was easy enough - in our opinion the best vegetarian cuisine by far. We had malai kofta and bangan ka bartha with rice and naan. The food was super tasty, the service friendly and fast and the decor, well, romantic. Great lunch and we'll be back for sure.
