All you order tastes the same, salty salty salty. Kids running around and in between tables and it's often crowded with larger groups. Uniterested staff and poor quality food.

Eetlokaal Klinkers restaurant is located in Oosterhout centre close to the impressive tower of the St-jans Basilica AD 1493. Furnishings and decoration provide a brasserie-café atmosphere. The food is much better than the name ‘Eetlokaal’ indicates. Service is adequate and friendly. Traditional cuisine defines its...MoreDear Mrs Piket, thank you so much for your kind review. We are a mature couple and were taken to this restaurant by a Dutch friend. We had a Japanese meal cooked in front of us which included chicken. fillet of pork and the softest of beef steak each accompanied with a sauce, vegetables and noodles. The chef was friendly, informative and entertaining. The service, unobtrusive, was excellent. Our son is allergic to anything that contains cows milk protein, this was explained to the waiter before ordering and we were given assurances that just slight adjustments by the chef would be needed for us all to enjoy the meal.He was also given a dessert with sorbet instead of ice cream. The restaurant was very busy with many people eating from the buffet. On our next visit to the Netherlands we will defiantly eat here again.

I little off from the centre of Oosterhout, but still walking distance, this is a nice place with good food, economically priced wines and last but not least a very good service.
Nice choice of dishes for starters and main courses.
We had a great evening

I have visited the restaurant with a group of business collegaues living close buy and working in Oosterhout. They knew the restaurant and they said that they serve really good Italian food.
And the experience was really good. The restaurant is very stylish and modern but still with very comfortable / cosy environment. Servuce was super friendly (we were served only by women staff) and they really took care of everything.
Starters were really good accompanied with a good Italian wine. For main I had a chicken which was properly seasoned and very tasty. Everything was as it should be.
Will be back for sure!
, and we were just out looking for somewhere to eat. We happened on this rather unassuming place, but from start to finish, the experience was great. The menu was seasonal, and I had the pigeon, followed by Angler fish, then tarte tatin. Everything was perfect, and the...

The restaurant is located in a nice 'koetshuis' (ie building belonging to a castle). Price/quality is excellent. The chef loves to play with flavours. So a number of small amuse bouche were presented, of which the 'interpretation of ceasar salad' was worthwile remembering. Difficulty with the amuse bouches was that the consistency was difficult to take it with your hands.
As a starter i had the steak tartare. ALthough excellent taste, it was made too complicated. It consisted of steak tartare, chicorice, spelt, a flower, some young roots, pepper ring, salad, marinated colliflower, two types of mayonaise... Probably a little more simplicity would have helped.
Second course was a nice fish dish, where simplicity was indeed applied with only a limited number of ingredients. Much more accessible, and of excellent quality. Top dish!
Wine selected by the sommelier was excellent matching: a red spatburgunder fitting to both steak tartare and fish! Well done.
So definitely worthwile visiting this restaurant. Also when travelling along the motorway, it is just a short hop in the city. Parking is no issue.Service staff is very friendly.

Located in the central square of Breda it's quite cosy Greek restaurant. Extensive list of dishes :fish, meat and vegetarian. I have taken some calamaris. I didn't think they were fried because it was not specified in the menù. Not bad I have to say. Big portion! As a dessert I took for fruit salad with cream but it was cream with fruit salad. No healthy option everything full of sauces and in dessert cream everywhere. But it was well presented and abundant!I would recommend it if you are hungry and like garlic sauce and cream!:)
