I would go back. The place was packed at 8.00 on a Friday night suggesting the locals like it. We really enjoyed the food - we had the rijs tafel which was varied, tasty and very generous. The service was very patchy and the wine list was white, red or rose! We settled for beer after one glass of the wine. We had a great night and I would go back.

Nice restaurant.Too many tables, that makes the restaurant a little too un-personal. Service is efficient, professional and helpful. Food is pretty good and the value for money is excellent. Planken Wambuis is close to the woods, this makes it a great place to hike first and dine afterwards (be sure to make a reservation).

Authentic vegetarian and non vegetarian dining in a cozy ambiance. Probably the best Indian food in town.
Nice Indian restaurant serving very good Indian food with friendly staff. It seems to be a popular place. On both days we went the restaurant was crowded and had to wait quite some time to get what we ordered. But the food was worth the wait. I forgot my phone and the charming lady serving the food came running out to give the phone. Highly appreciated and recommended to visit when you are in Arnhem

Not just an excellent Restaurant but a piece of history, we called in to this restaurant/Café while visiting the Oosterbeek War Cemetry which is where members of the British and Polish Armed Forces who lost their lives at Arnhem are buried.
The Restaurant bears the Parachute Regiments symbol PEGASUS but not just that, the interior is a tribute and museum to those brave men, every inch of wall space is adorned with the plaques of British Army Units, memorabilia from the battle, photographs and much more, it really is like visiting a museum, even the windows are etched with badges and the details of the Parachute Regiment.
I found the experience very moving, not least because I am a former member of the Parachute Regiment and was there to pay my respects to Claude and Thomas Gronert, they are buried side by side in the nearby Military Cemetery and it was good to see that their sacrifice was remembered so well in the village.
The welcome was warm and the food was excellent, good, cheerful service with a smile and as my partner had taken ill from the long hot journey of an extra warm July the lady who served us was quick to offer her assistance.

I got a 6 course dinner at this restaurant as a birthday present. It is the oldest Michelin starred restaurant (1*) in the Netherlands. It was absolutely fabulous. Over the years we have visited Michelin starred restaurants in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France and the U.K., but chef Tonny Berentsen is absolutely one of the best. The wine selection with the different courses was perfect. Absolutely worth a visit (even a special trip). The restaurant is connected to the 4* Bilderberg hotel Klein Zwitserland.

Never been here before although this restaurant exists for many years. The building is nice with different rooms to dine and wine. Romantic. Good waitresses and very nice. Food is high quality against good price. Recommend everyone who like good Italian food. I will go more often here..!!

't Amusement is the restaurant of chef Estee Strooker (26). As a 20-year-old girl she opened the restaurant in 2011 after she won the program Masterchef Netherland.<br>Now, more than five years later, she is still as passionate as she was when she started.<br>Along with manager Leon de Rijke and their super passionate young team 't Amusement gives you a warm welcome!<br><br>'t Amusement serves creative cuisine in different surprise menus.<br>Every month there is a new menu of the season. At 't Amusement have the possibility to dine a whole evening but it is also possible to have a quick menu. You can choose from a 3-course menu or 5- or 7-course chefs menu.<br><br>At 't Amusement you can enjoy pure flavors, creatively presented, with respect to the origin.<br>Besides letting guest enjoy their food, 't Amusement has a higher purpose; letting guest think about the current food industry. This by making a conscious choice of ingredients from the season, only to work with "the whole animal" and MSC caught fish. And off course by finding a good balance between vegetables, meat and fish. <br> <br>The wine list consists of a not too wide choice of European wines. We have a great choice of biodynamic and natural wines. <br><br>'t Amusement is located near Rijnkade. Perhaps not the first corner you will see as you walk through the city. But once you're inside you will be welcomed in a warm and a bit quirky entourage. In summer you can dine in our (covered by a tent) courtyard.
Estee Stooker runs a tight ship in her establishment, Amusement. Menu is inventive and good. The place is frequented by hipsters. Being an older male weighing close to 100 kg, I am a bit afraid to go in. Constant fear of breaking some of the fragile entourage, getting stuck in the Italian design chairs.

I was at Fong Chen for a business meeting. From the outside you won't believen to find behind the entrance such a good restaurant. The cook is a very committed professional. We let him prepare a 5 dishes menu (plus they offer us two delicious amuses). The food was amazing and very worth. They have a comprehensive wine selection. The sommelier gives you proper advice and the wines are highly recommendable. Why not 5 stars? The French influences in the kitchen are recognizable, which makes at the end that you have experienced less than you expect a 'real' Chinese meal. The herb and spices were not so typical Chinese like I have experienced in Asia. But the food is really delicious!

We had some time to spare before getting to our next stop. It was a gloomy January afternoon and Grand Cafe Oosterbeek was beckoning to have a latte macchiato. We have learned not to expect much from an establishment called "Grand Cafe", which means generally substandard service and elevated prices, but here at Grand Cafe Oosterbeek only pleasant surprises were awaiting us. The staff waited politely until we had settled down and had a look at the menu, the lattes were well prepared and prices were moderate. Grand Cafe Oosterbeek is to be recommended. On negative point, the staff behind the counter could do with some improvement in hygienic working, but this is true for many Dutch restaurants; The Dutch are not very good at these details.

As with other aspects of the hotel Artusi is part of this restaurant is puzzling. Are we in Artusi? Where is the Italian food? Ahhh... we are in the part that does not serve Italian food. Set menus more based on French with a Meditteranean touch it seems. As food came with our room, we had four of these set menus. Unfortunately moving over to the tables where we could have Italian was not possible given the arrangements.
Unfortunately also, what we we offered on the first night was not good. My guess is that too much was going on in the kitchen for too small a brigade. That happily changed. The other dinners we much better, with elements bordering on the 'making us very happy' kind. A buffet style desert offered a lot of nice sweetness and some (could be more) cheese. Some things offered did give the impression of not being made on th spot, but wherever is was made provides good quality.
Service can be somewhat irratic, perhaps because there are a lot in waiting who seem to be training on the job. But in all a pretty good experience. 'Good' in my mind, so 3.5 dots rather than the full 4.
We had breakfast here too. Pretty good stuff. What I needed to get used to was a waiter who, with all good intentions, was enthusiastic to a level that did not match the morning mood of many of the guests. "But I mean well!" was his repeated answer to moody remarks. This great character absolutely does. It just does not work that well at that specific time of day.
