Everytime we are in the Morrisburg area we either go to the New Centennial, or bring their amazing Takeout to our hotel. The Greek Souvlaki is amazing, with the skewers, rice, potatoes and a delicious greek salad and dressing - and the portion sizes are quite large. I always have enough left over for lunch the next day - but my husband? He always eats the whole thing :) Just be careful ordering to make sure if you want the souvlaki chicken on a skewer, that you are ordering the right thing, as they do call it something different, like a 'brochette'. And if you like Tzatziki, ask for an extra side. Apparently they are also the best pizza in town.

Subway is a staple when it comes to lunch. You can eat a relatively healthy lunch for a reasonable price however this location is not consistent. I've been there when the service was relatively quick however I've also been the only person in the place and was made to feel like I was bothering them. The restaurant is definitely not as clean as many other Subway restaurants and the staff do not appear to be interested in "raising the bar". If the town of Morrisburg had a second Subway, all of my business would go their way. Clean up your act!

Decided to eat at the Hotel Restaurant inside of the Upper Canada Village. Had beef stew, spring salad with Apple Vinegarette dressing, home made bread from the bakery, blueberry pie, and cheese and fruit plate with homemade chutney. My husband had Basa Fish, spring salad, Cole slaw, tater sauce and rosemary potatoes and blueberry pie with whipped cream. Everything was delicious! We had 2 sodas and the entire bill came to a little over $70. Would highly recommend.

Hadn't heard of Tim Hortons before coming to Canada but now I do!
Service upon entering was excellent at the Morrisburg store as was the cleanliness. Super happy staff and the choice of food was in abundance which was also very fresh. Place was packed with all ages from bikers, old and young . I went with my kids so we pigged out big time and wasn't disappointed.
I can't remember what we ordered as they were demolished very quickly but we were beaten by the donuts and had to have a carry out the remainder to finish them off in the privacy of our home to appreciate the indulgence.
Can't wait to go again when in Canada.

The Basket Case is a true gem - when you walk in, it looks like you have walked into an antique store, but look towards the back and you will see the most quaint cafe, where both tourists and locals meet over great home cooked food. Hannah and Karl, the owners are delightful, and the atmosphere is like going to your favourite aunt's for lunch or breakfast. Favourite things? Besides joking with the owners - the breakfast specials, and the fact that they feature local artists on the walls. If you are in Mo'burg, you have to go!

Attended with a large family group. Everyone always enjoys the wide variety of items in the buffet. There is a large selection of cold items (cheeses, salads, hard boiled eggs, etc) and hot items such as custom made omelettes, waffles, etc. A large selection of desserts were included in the buffet.

Visiting the area and we wanted something other than a restaurant. Found this pizza joint on our walk around the strip plaza. Really cool decor and great music. The pizza was fantastic. Price was far and on par with typical pizza shops. The gentleman of "pizza artist" was friendly as could be. Even served us at the one and only table in the place. Don't miss out if you're a tourist passing through.

O'Neills on the Green at Upper Canada Golf is open to the public, in a beautiful setting overlooking the greens of Upper Canada Golf Course. For a quick bite and beer while playing a round of golf, or a formal sit down meal in the evenings, O'Neills has you covered. A fantastic place to stop and enjoy the weather on the patio, or catch the game on the TV. Thursday Wing night specials.
O'Neills on the Green is located at Upper Canada Golf course, and is open to the public. Right across from Upper Canada Village, and has a lovely veiw of the golf course. It has a great selection of beer, wine and mixed drinks. Great place to watch the game, or have a nice night out. Amazing wing specials on Thursdays and the wings are so yummy! A ton of sauces to chose from. The whole menu is great and the prime rib on Friday and Saturday is melt in your mouth goodness! The staff are attentive and friendly!
