What a great, historical place. Right now it is decorated for Christmas with antigue things. This was the house that was built by Tillsonburg's founder.

The station is an historic part of Tillsonburg's past and has been repurpassed to house the work of local artisans. Not only is it a delight to see this historic building restored, but also to visit inside and tour the building. From spring to fall, this area is also known for its Saturday market with fresh, local produce available.

If you're a runner in the area this trail system is a must visit. The combined golf course/ trail is a truly beautiful setting. During my run I was greeted by friendly hellos from golfers playing the course as well as walkers strolling the trail. I would love to see more of this multi use concept adopted by other communities.

The Water Park is open to the public annually from Father's Day to Labour Day.
It is a nice water park to cool down at during the dog days of summer. The splash park for the little kids is cool. Would be better with more than one slide but it will take away to much swimming space.

This is a favorite place to take picture of family and friends, as it gives a nice woodsy feeling without leavibg town. But beware of the dog poop!

We toured this establishment recently expecting to find older antiques .What we found was actually a vendors market which, in itself was interesting .Many deco type things. It's a fairly large building so it does take a while to get through the place.Very little in the way of antique furniture ,but we were informed that they do have special events that cater to this interest

I purchased the Scenic Tour for my husbands birthday along with an Introductory Flight Lesson. We both got to go up for the Long Point Tour and it was totally incredible! The flight lasts a little over an hour and takes you over Lake Erie and the inner bay as well as the coast of Long Point. You also fly over the Lake Erie Wind Farm and get to see all the huge windmills from a completely different perspective. We also flew over Port Burwell and saw the submarine on dry dock and because we live in the area we also got to fly over our farm, a real highlight for us! I have a horrible fear of heights but our pilot flew us so smoothly that I wasn't nervous at all! There is a quaint little restaurant on sight that offers a delicious breakfast as well as other menu items, and a small gift shop area as well. There are a number of privately owned Harvard planes kept at the airport and on the Saturday that we were there a number of them were going up....this is a sound unlike any other! My husband had his introductory flight lesson about a week later and I had to stay on the ground for this as it was only a two seater plane. He actually had a hand in the take off and landing and got to handle the controls for most of the flight. It was an experience that he will not soon forget. This was worth every penny and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! I would go up again in a heartbeat!
