Working dinner in an old restored mill, great food, friendly but very professional service and a relaxed atmosphere. The most wonderful food, prepared with such skill and passion. We chose very different meals and each one was exceptional. Even the coffee was perfect.

We decided to go for the Lumberjack Plate. We ordered for 2 adults and one child (nearly 4) but our waiter helpfully advised that just ordering for 2 adults would be sufficient. So for 29 euros we got a pot full of steak, meatballs, ribs, and drumsticks plus baked potatoes and veges. All very delicious. And then a salad and a cone of fries arrived too! Tremendous value, Dessert was very good too. Drinks menu rather limited though and it got very slow towards the end (we waited a long time for dessert) as it got very busy. Eat earlier if you can.

great take out, one portion will feed two people. English spoken, good variety. Thought expensive until we saw the size of the portions, next time we will buy less!

We entered this restaurant with two children, two dogs and two babies after a very rainy afternoon hike in the surrounding Nature Park. As expected the place was packed. We found a table in the back and discovered the great beer selection. The restaurant has at least ten quality beers on tap and a fine selection of regional and (strong) Belgian beers with or without appetizers. We enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the friendly staff. Yes the beer and the cheese were great.

In our a la carte restaurant Auberge du Bonheur is cooked at a high culinary level . Beautiful classic French cuisine with a contemporary translation . We work as much as possible with local products that we select daily from our suppliers. Chef cook Ralph Blaakenburg and his team are committed every day with heart and soul to surprise your taste buds. " We are guided by the pure flavors of the season. Everything is prepared in our kitchen , up to the chocolates and sweets . Our aim is gastronomic perfection, which makes for a unique experience. "
We enjoyed a six-course dinner at the Auberge Du Bonheur restaurant. For us, mid-aged couple, the restaurant, decor and atmosphere was slightly ... stiff. The place where people would be whispering. The dishes were nicely presented and well made though not particularly outstanding for the price of the menu. We did however feast on the great selection of cheeses that were on display. Together with a 40-year-old port that was a great closure of the dinner.

Restaurant Kok Verhoeven is located in the centre of Tilburg. At walking distance you find the railway station. The restaurant shares its kitchen with the brasserie.
We were pleasantly surprised by atmosphere and food. The menu is traditional European and lunch & dinner are served. Furnishings and decoration give the restaurant a nice character. Service is adequate and very friendly.
We went for a classical three-course menu. The choice of wines to the glass is impressive. Food is well presented and tasty. Kok Verhoeven is a value for money restaurant. The restaurant deserves its Bib Gourmand.
We recommend Kok Verhoeven to anyone who seeks nice food accompanied by a good glass in a most pleasant ambiance. Well worth a visit.

Eetcafé Kandinsky stands for honest, good food in a cozy friendly environment. Lunch, diner or small bites on our Terrace or restaurant. The art of enjoyment!
Staying at Efteling and wanted to eat somewhere off-site so decided to go into Waalwijk (10 minutes drive). Chose the Kandinsky as it is in the centre and good ratings. Great choice! The sharing platters to start are something different with smoked tuna, duck, oysters, etc. We tried a few main courses - veal was great, burgers fantastic, fish of the day excellent, pasta very tasty. Really can't fault the food at all - and the service also very good. In fact, we went back the night after for a repeat performance. Best to book so you're not disappointed!

Attention to flavour and the wine-food combination is what characterises Restaurant Taste!. The wines for the dishes are chosen based on the menu. Sommelier Kees Verlaan makes refreshing choices ensuring that food and wine complement each other perfectly He is also happy to personally provide insight into his choice at your table.
One of the best restaurants in Tilburg. Very reasonably priced and high quality, the specials can be very good indeed. This restaurant is definately the best thing about the Mercure Hotel.
