Le Chat Botté restaurant, one of the finest gastronomic venues in the city, will charm its guests with its Mediterranean colours and atmosphere. Within the solid walls of the Beau-Rivage Cellar, there are treasures accumulated over many years. Wine enthusiasts will relish the suggestions of the Sommelier Vincent Debergé. French and contemporary cuisine is skilfully orchestrated by Chef Dominique Gauthier, one Michelin star and 18/20 in Gault et Millau.
This is obviously a great table and we experienced a wonderful evening at Le Chat Botté. All our dishes were perfectly made and presented with a touch of originality, although we had a game menu which probably imposes some constraints on creativity. Products were perfect, the amuse stops original and excellent, service was extremely professional, smiling and with the right light touch of familiarity. Timing of service was perfectly mastered. We indeed would like to taste a menu in which the chef would be able to express his inventivity even more.
Among the few less perfect points: A slight delay at the beginning of the meal: although aperitifs were served quickly, the menu, and especially the wine menu came after a too long time. More importantly, portions were definitely tiny. Not too much for starters that were ok but the main dish was surprisingly small. Obviously you don't come in such restaurant to eat a lot but this was only a 5 course menu (including cheese and dessert) so not gargantuan, a slightly more generous main dish would have been welcome. Second prices are high. Not too much of a surprise in Geneva, and even less in such luxury hotel restaurant, but here menu prices are on the high end. Wines are even worse and are definitely significantly overpriced. The restaurant chose to offer "classical" bread and not fancy little strange breads, which is fine, but the result is only average, a fresh sourdough would be better.
The restaurant itself is classically decorated, and quite pleasant, nothing really remarkable. Dishware is beautiful. Altogether this remained an excellent and pleasant dinner.

We came to this restaurant because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor and Michelin and we were not disappointed.
As a starter I had the topinambour soup with cream and truffle - excellent!
My main was the sea bass with rice and beurre blanc sauce, also this dish was perfect.
As a dessert we both went for the café gourmand with an interesting selection of sweets like chocolate mousse, panna cotta and friandises.
The service is fast and efficient but also friendly and professional.

I have had dinner here twice; the first time we were in particular impressed by the waiter, who was extremely friendly and professional. The second time, when he was not around, we found the restaurant rather mediocre, and the staff rather arrogant. The acoustics are quite bad, they have tried to adjust it but this is no place to go if your ears are not functioning 100%, a lot of noise.

We chose the restaurant at Les Bergues to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary and did not regret the choice.
Every course was prepared with care and taste, and the service was attentive without being invasive.
The Deserts are worth planning for - so leave enough room. The restaurant had heard it was our wedding anniversary and so brought us an extra desert decorated specially for us/
Memorable!

Everything in Geneva is expensive coming from the UK but le Dix Vins is a particularly nice French/Swiss restaurant with very nice style, attitude with a very nice atmosphere. I would recommend. There was no vegetarian food on the menu but they were very accomodating and produced a nice dish for my vegetarian niece.

It's a long thin restaurant with a small bar at the end. If you go as a couple expect to sit next to someone. If you go as four ( reserve in advance ) at least you will have a table to yourselves. Not a large choice but food is well cooked and tasty. Due to the size, the service is good and the plat du jour for lunch is excellent value for money. In the evening expect to pay more but the choice and the variations are excellent. Wine is not cheap but they do have 5dl bottles. A good address for a pleasant lunch or a meal before the cinema.

Had a pleasant time here. We were walk ins and they made room for us. But the restaurant was very full for a Tuesday night. Good sign. Meals were interesting and generous. Nicely creative. You won't leave hungry or bored.
Wait staff were very accommodating and professional.

At Bayview restaurant, guests can savour the unique culinary creations of world-famous chef Michel Roth (MOF and Bocuse d'Or 1991, Taittinger Prize 1985), an international role model for cultivated and creative French culinary art. An impressive wine cellar rounds off the authentic gastronomic offering and completes the absolute sensory experience. This luxury restaurant in Geneva was awarded a Michelin star since 2014 and a grade of 18/20 at Gault-Millau since 2016.
Everything a top Michelin restaurant should be. Superb food, excellent staff, beautiful room. Every course is stunning and the presentation a work of art. Just make sure you've got plenty of appetite so you don't miss and of the course and make it to the out of this world cheese-trolley. Pricing is reasonable too - if you've in Geneva, do not miss it.

Modern restaurant, city center located in the hearth of the conpemporary art neighbourhood. French cuisine.
On walking in to the Restuarnt we were greeted by the lovely owner, throughout the meal we were looked after very well. The chef is preparing and cooking the food in the restaurant very calmly and amazingly well. Food is fantastic and reasonable which is rare word in this town. Definitely worth a try. The desserts are to die for by the way!

Le Bistroquet is located in between Carouge, Plainpalais and Les Acacias. Easily reached by public transport (stop Acacias). The atmposhere is really nice. A small place with a sense of intimacy. The menu is good; nice selection and variety of dishes. The "tartare" is made à la carte; you can choose which ingredients to add. It comes with fries. We had a salad and soup as a starter. No room left for dessert. But we'll be back to try the profiteroles that the guests next to us were enjoying :-) !! Highly recommended.
