The place is quite good but a bit small. However, you will be amazed of the ice cream taste... it's really good and tasty/ People are lining up to take a break of this wonderful restaurant. Food are good especially the "ICE CREAM". Come on and try as well!! Due to many patronage of this restaurant I hope to visit again with a much bigger place!!

The restaurant might not be easy to find but pizza are really excellent, and the wine were good too, all that for a very reasonable price! The restaurant is very charming too and staff and owner very nice, as only open a few evenings per week, reservation is recommended.

I had always believed that Max's restaurants are fast food restaurants, with unhealthy options. Hence, I had never visited them anywhere in the country. I was pleasantly surprised today that they not only have healthy options in general, but also they have many healthy vegetarian options.
I ordered asparagus-tofu with rice. I also ate frozen fruits as dessert. The tastes were very good. The service was good too. They adjusted our big group on the first floor of a neighbouring building of Yellow Can Pizza. Yet, the two young people who served us were quite swift in carrying food from their kitchen to our floor.

This quaint cafe and restaurant is very close to our place so whenever my fiance and I are craving gourmet food, we run right ahead to SOUL. Service is amazing although sometimes the food can be dry. Still reallybgreat overall!

That Friday in March, we had a historic Memorandum of Agreement signing with one of the municipalities in La Union. Rose Bowl is the chosen venue for the quality of its Chinese cuisine. Our guests ranged from the Governor, the Congressmen, the Sangguniang Bayan councilors and Barangay Captains to executives of a private company. We were 40 pax and we ordered a package composed of Steamed Lapu Lapu, Pata Tim, Hototay soup and Rose Bowl Noodles. The food was fantastic. We had the signing ceremony and everything went well. We even had a private room and the arrangement was just perfect....ceremonial table. windows draped in red curtains...tables with red table cloth. Nice venue and good food.

Food was good and affordable.
There's a view of the beach outside and a cozy homey feel inside.
Servers were accommodating but may need more if place will be full.
Sinigang was good as well as the chicharon bulaklak.
Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

We booked a reservation at Angel and Marie's Place (AMP). We got two (2) of their air-conditioned rooms which are good for four (4) persons each, since there were seven (7) of us. Their rooms are simple, spacious and really homey. They have clean linens, with free towels and blankets. Their bathrooms have tissue papers and soaps. They also have a flat screen cable Television inside, you won't get bored. Also, the owners personally manage the place, and they are really accommodating.
If you are looking for a budget-friendly place, this is definitely the right accommodation to book. Prices are as follows:
Fan Room (for 1-2 persons) - P1000/ day
Fan Room (for 4 persons) - P2000/ day
Fan Room (for 8 persons) - P4000/ day
Aircon Room (2-4 persons) - P2800/ day
Rates are inclusive of courtesy breakfast, which are very delicious by the way. They also own a restaurant which serves really good food. That's is where you will claim your free breakfast. Also, they don't have a specific time of check-in unlike the hotels. Our stay their was on a 24-hour basis, meaning the time of our check-in will also be the time of our check-out the next day. If you are planning to extend a few more hours, their charge is by hour (Computation: Room Rate/ 24 hours). For additional inquiries and Reservations, feel free to contact the owner directly, Ms. Marie, through 0917 723 3253.

With exception to 5* hotels in Manila, the majority of restaurants in Luzon lack even the most basic aspects of culinary expectations. All too often we have experienced, dismal decors ,tatty furniture, third rate tableware, poor or non - existent service, dreadful WC's and to conclude, unimaginative low quality, poorly presented food.
Having read the reviews on the Awesome Hotel we decided to 'give it a go' and see if our bad experiences could be overcome. On entering the restaurant, we were immediately reassured that this establishment would meet our discerning standards.
Undoubtedly, this restaurant was set up to satisfy the needs of the cosmopolitan diner ( most Filipino restaurants cannot cater for Westerners needs). From the moment you are seated it is apparent from the high quality tableware, cutlery, dining ware, furniture, and ambience that this establishment has gone to considerable lengths to offer something special.
The menu is both comprehensive, and varied. No matter which country you originate from, USA, UK, Germany, Korea, Japan, etc. there is something on the menu to cater for you.It would be impossible not to be able to find a meal for even the fussiest of diners. We did not partake in ordering wine, however like the menu the wine list was diverse and comprehensive.
When we were served our food it was obvious that the chef had used finest, fresh, ingredients available. The taste was only matched by the superb presentation. Clearly the chef had thought about not only producing the food but its presentation. We are not food 'snobs' however to us the presentation defines an exceptional restaurant from a very good one.
On a final note, despite the high quality and finesse the cost of the meal was not exceptional. It was very good value. Raffles, The Marriot, Shangri La, take note !
The Awesome restaurant ticks all the boxes.

With the tourist boom in San Juan area, Durf Shack offers a nice hangout place to get good food and local beers. It has a variety of food and drinks so the barkada can surely enjoy the night out. Price: P200 for food and drinks per person.
