Saud beach is one of the cleanest beach I’ve ever been to: Nice powdery sand; clear blue-green water with not-so mild waves crashing into the beach; windmills as backdrop against this magnificent view... Best of all, you got to enjoy a beautiful sunset right in front of you…
If only they could get rid of the dogs loitering around… I wonder where they poop?

Amazing waterfall with an astounding 112 foot drop. You trek for 30 minutes and come to this. Cool water and shallow enough for your kids to swim.

This concrete coastal bridge stretches more than a kilometer long. It connects the northernmost provinces of Mainland Luzon, Ilocos Norte and Cagayan. From the bridge one can see the vast expanse of the ocean. With nothing much to see in the area, it is better to just include a visit to the bridge as one of your target destinations when in the Ilocos region.

the view is definitely breath-taking when you traverse this road going to cagayan from ilocos. or you can simply go there deliberately when touring the most northern part of ilocandia. the ocean meets the mountain and kissed by the fresh seabreeze that can make you appreciate the best that nature can offer. don't forget to take a sip of the truest mineral water in the middle of the road where the mini-grotto and souvenir shops are located.

You have to go down the road then walk in a short rocky seaside area to reach here. The cave is a very small one is not enclosed like a normal cave. Due to this, it tends to get crowded.
Even from the road above, there are kids who can assist you and give you interesting photos. They don't really have a fixed fee hence they are dependent on your generous heart.

Be ready with your swimming shoes/beach shoes; you can not cross without. Get the right timing.. make it sure it is low tide. then you can cross on foot. The locals warn to follow the dead corals, which means this is the right path crossers used to follow.
A very nice solitary feeling (with my husband), if you were there in the island. We made it sure to go back to the Mainland after we stroll for sometime. We were alerted that water current is tough when the tide is up.

a cool, clean, clear river drops into the sea here. a park has been created with swimming pools, picnic huts on one of the most beautiful views in the Philippines of the rugged Ilocos Norte coastline. this place was so beautiful, the water so refreshing that we returned the day after our tour to spend a couple hours here swimming and soaking up the view.
