This is one of the best restaurants in the Eastern Shore area. We had scallops, salmon. And pork tenderloin. The salads and soups were divine. This is a small kitchen with a limited menus .
They usually have a choice of three or four main entrees . The food is excellent and reasonably priced . The service was friendly and fast.

Burger was tastless....fish and chips tasted like they came from a frozen package.
Nice view from patio

We were driving from Lunenburgh to Cape Bretton and happened upon this place at just the right time. There isn't much around, but this little spot really surprised us! Hymie is a kind man with lots of personality! We found him singing while cooking - we shared the fried clam bellies, fries and slaw - and they were great! We're from NH and know seafood -- this was the real deal! We saw a guy have to take 2 trips to his car to carry 2 burgers -- the Hymie Burger - which I think had the 'works' - bacon and cheese, on it! Also interesting - Hymie recognized my husband's RI accent! Pretty cool! All the best to this guy -- wonderful meal!! Great conversation! Thank you so much!

When told that we were headed for Halifax on Highway 7, a nice fellow we met at a Tim Hortons in Antigonish urged us to stop for lunch at the Liscombe Lodge’s Riverside Dining Room. He certainly knew what he was talking about. The Riverside Dining Room was delightful. CJ and I were ushered to a window table with a nice view of the Liscomb River. Our server Martha took good care of us. Our club sandwiches were delivered in due time and eaten with gusto. The price was reasonable, and we went away happy. We’ll stop here again if we get the chance.
