Dropped in for a late casual dinner. No issue getting a seat but the place was busy which is always a good sign. Broad pizza menu so finding something you want is easy and they allow changes. All the other meals looked good and substantial so there's something for everyone. Nice cold beer to boot.

Cafe, central, great staff, quirky and friendly owner, great breakfasts (especially blueberry pancakes) and lunches, good healthy juices!
The outdoor and indoor areas are attractive, although it's popular with families so the inside can get very noisy, and the staff are disturbingly but enjoyably effervescent. The menu is quite short, with the all-day breakfast making up half the food offerings, with the others mainly sandwiches or salads. I got the pork belly special and it seemed a bit soft and tasteless, maybe microwaved, yet it cost $28 (other mains are $12-$18 and that seems a bit much for what I saw on people's plates, although Griffith seems to be very expensive generally). Coffee was ok.

The best Italian meal in a long time. Interesting location & decor. Wonderful service. The meals in word "OUTSTANDING" I had the Scallopini Fungi one of the best meals ever, the most superbly cooked tender veal & beautiful veges cooked to perfection, very generous servings. All meals were sensational, great wine list, leave room for dessert they are to die for. Reasonably priced. Cannot wait to go back.

Came to Griffith for 2 nights and we were so excited to go to an authentic Italian restaurant on our last night for some great food.
We were greeted by a girl who absolutely stank of BO however the other staff were lovely.
It was a Wednesday night and not busy at all.
There were only 5 people (3 tables) in the section we were in and one table had to ask for some-one to take his order as he had waited so long.
We ordered some garlic bread and pasta dish (for 2 people) but one dish had a rich, creamy sauce and the other was very lacking 'no love on the plate'
We wanted a bottle of sparkling/champagne and all we could get was a little bottle of Yellowtail. So we had a beer and a glass of Westend Riesling.
The wine list was very disappointing and lacking in varietals (and imagination) considering the excellent wines produced in the region.
Very disappointed and we will go somewhere else for our dining experience next time.

A local recommended this place. I had no idea Griffith was such a haven for Italian food. We started with the whitebait and bruschetta and both were outstanding. I love gnocchi but when it’s bad it’s bad. The waiter told me the lady who makes...MoreThanks I’m glad you enjoyed everything and was a pleasure meeting you guys Nicolina will be please you enjoyed her Gnocchi till

Tried the pies ordinary. But to excellent reviews thought id give it another crack. Had a chicken Schnitzel roll with salad. The bread roll great all down hill from there on. The crumbed chicken dry as the desert and horrible slapped between tasteless tomato & lettuce. No thanks. If you are after superb breakfast, brunch or lunch just around the corner is the wonderful Cafe Deli.

Bringing modern Pub Grub, Aussie classics and American Style Burgers to the Griffith Region. Pizza Menu with traditional toppings and "Pub Creations" also available
If you are looking for a place to take the kids for a casual dinner with mates, or a great night out without the kids with fabulous live or spun music, the Area is the place to be. The menu is fairly traditional pub food, just done really well, with one or two surprises thrown in. My husband recently had his school reunion there and Torro helped to make the night one that will be talked about for a long time. Excellent!

Had breakfast here the service is good the food was good my friend had eggs poached he got three although ordered 2 so a bonus as the waitress said they where small and a couple of snags . I had the Turkish bread with egg bacon and way to much lettuce. Coffee and hot chocolate and it was good quick clean. Reasonably priced parking not a problem
