,,Happy Sevastopol" is the chain's newest restaurant, which was opened in the heart of Varna city. It is located at the square opposite the "Black Sea"hotel, on the walkway to the Sea garden. The restaurant has two floors, a panoramic Terrace on the first floor and a spacious open-air Terrace in the backyard with unique opening roof system. Inside there is a sushi hall, a typical Happy-style hall, where customers can enjoy view of the show-kitchen and "inspect" the preparation of their orders in the state-of-the-art charcoal B-B-Q's, which are especially ordered for the chain. The restaurant is furnished in style with the chain's new modern vision, which has a bit of a retrospective flair, but with a touch of modernity and oddness, that make all "Happy" restaurants look so special and be widely recognizable. There are 350 indoor seats and 200 seats on the two terraces.
Nice place to eat lunch. The sushi is among the best in Varna if not the best. But in all nothing very special but the things you order will be good.Thank you for the good words. We appreciate our client`s opinion and we are glad that we made you smile. Be happy! Best regards, Happy Bar & Grill

Very touristy, catering mostly to the tour groups which arrive en masse and are instantly served their meal. The 2 soup starters were authentic and tasty and the fish was local and fresh. The veal was reasonably good. Dessert neon coloured sugar - yuk. Location superb though being literally on the beach with a Terrace overlooking the sea. Lovely for a paddle in the black sea before or after.

Red Canape is an urban restaurant, capturing the pulse of the day. Active - because we care, relaxing - after work, friendly - when you're together, trendy - because we cook with imagination. Red Canape will welcome you - without looking at its watch, will invite you - free of comments about your style and will make feel really comfortably - like in canapé. In this case - Red Canape! Red Canape is different. Just like you.
Also this summer I visited this restaurant during my 14 days stay in Varna. This restaurant always have well prepared food in an relaxing atmosphere. The calf with foie gras is excellent and cooked to perfection. Smoked breast of duck with risotto the same. Desserts are quite creative. There is normally not many guest in the summer season, so the staff can get a bit to busy if there come many guests. But all in all this is always my best diner experience in Varna. Hope to come back next year. There is also a good Vine cellar.

Located under hotel Marina Grand Beach and opposite the Hotel Bonita.
Be prepared to wait forever for service because the place seems understaffed and the waiters who are working are sometimes running around in a manic fashion, even kicking
chairs out of their way on the night we visited. The food was dire with the exception of the bread, no resemblance to typical Bulgarian cuisine and just for the record I'm not a
tourist but a resident of Bulgaria for 18 years. If they served this kind of food in Sofia and with the level of service then they'd go bankrupt in a month. I can only say that most of the visitors probably don't know any better and assume that this is how a typical Bulgarian restaurant should be.

We came here after Reading the reviews and were pleased with our meal.
We had pizza which was cooked fresh and my husband had a burger that was huge and filled with salad and accompanied by home mace chips.
We went a few times and E joked the breakfast and pizzas and the fish soup went down well too.
We had a last night however that was dissapointing as my dish of risotto was just like frozen veg thrown in to rice and my husband's chips were definitely oven ones.
The service was odd as well because the man behind the bar kept helping g himself to the beer and got quite drunk and loud.
We began to feel a little uncomfortable and decided that other would be our last meal and that we should quit before we got put off altogether.
The pizza was the best thing on the menu especially the blue cheese one so it's worth going to for that alone.

Welcome to the best restaurant in Varna! All the staff is very attentive, motivated and talented. We guarantee the highest quality dishes, that taste divine and have an outstanding presentation. We work only with the freshest produits on the market, no compromise made, always according to the season. Our wine selection is the best in the country, not only by number of labels - over 700, but also the great variety of excellent wines that are nowhere else to be found. Finally, there is no other building in town like ours - historical monument, made modern with style and comfort. Our summer garden is like a small paradise.
We have been in Varna on vocation and it was our first time in Bulgaria. The restaurant we selected according to recommendations from Trip Adviser. And our choice was absolutely right! All the food was delicious. There is some room for improvement of communication with English speaking guests. But it's a small issue as we come back again in the same week!

Every time we visit this restaurant, I have a contrasting impression! Coffee is perfect. I love to drink there - a cocktail with a brazen wine. The menu has delicious hits .... But! Service is one day is very angry ... One day - very kind. At 21 00 sometimes say they close ... Also, it is not always authentic Italian cuisine. Quality is variable.Prices too are too high, and do not match what is being offered.

Style, coziness, sophisticated interior, a gourmet menu, and a breath-taking view, all gathered together to create the perfect harmony of Captain Cook Restaurant in Varna. Occupying the top floor of the famous Varna Harbour Station, Captain Cook restaurant welcomes its guests with an extraordinary open-air Terrace where they could contemplate the beauty of the gulf and the sea water whispering. The thematically designed interior naturally implements the freedom of the sea and the tender touch of sunset. And here comes the grand piano perfectly matching the ambience with its delicate speech every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. Since its opening Captain Cook restaurant has undoubtedly gained the fame of the most refined venue in the city and enjoys permanently increasing footfall. This is the place where every connoisseur of sea-food specialties, gourmet food, selected wines, and unexceptionable service goes. We treat every client as a dearest guest and our customers always come back to feel the spirit of the one and only restaurant Captain Cook.
The setting of Captain Cook could not have been better. On the pier...a Bulgarian Navy ship docked next door...a view of the night lights of Varna. The food wasn't as spectacular...it was just average at best. I ordered a dish on the menu and the waitress's response..."...oh, you want frozen fish?" So at least she was honest; but that led to the fresh fish case where you select what you want. Nothing wrong with that; but I think there is a bit of profiling customers and two Americans are prime candidates for the more expensive fresh fish. No complaints...it was then simply grilled and was done nicely. The grilled vegetables that came as a side were mush...and the appetizer of avocado and crabmeat was a real miss as it included a very hard piece of avocado, no crab taste and overpowering tartar sauce. So...nice setting, well prepared fresh fish...but nothing spectacular give it an average rating.
