The restaurant has a limited menu. The food quality is good, the quantity very East European. The setting in a Austrian Empire dining room with chandeliers is fairly opulent. A special kick is the aquarium below the glass covered floor. The dress code is informal.

It is a lovely castle in a very good shape and with interesting Exhibitions covering medieval time as well as 19th century life in the countryside

Family Fishrestaurant open 11-21, in small spa town Frantiskovy Lazne close to boarders with Germany.
This restaurant simply has a perfect location - on the shore of a small lake, but still close to city centre, looks great from outside and also the interior may give the impression of coziness....if I wasn´t the only guest, if the waitress wasn´t so annoyed, if the kitchen didn´t smell so much with burned oil.....I was served right after the waitress finished her call to her friend. The fish soup was a vegetable one with pieces of fish (but it was delicious), white wine was poor and the main dish also - the croquette was burnt and the flatfish was fried what I did not know before. Definitely could recommend this place for a dinner........

I came here for lunch only because of review on tripadvisor - because the restaurant doesn´t look very temptingly....inside it´s very dark and grey with some weird smell....so I decided to sit outside on a garden - the waitress was trying to convince me not to do it (yes, I was the first one there and it´s more far than inside tables.....) Other waiter didn´t know what´s on daily menu and did not bring me water....Food itself was average - quite fine onion soup and some pasta with chicken breast....definitely will not come back

The meal was fine, beer was fine, the service was fine, the menu and wine list were nice. Unfortunately it is the restaurant with the so called live music for dance (I consider such music performance as the breach the international treatment prohibiting the torture) - so it is fine to have meal there before 7 p.m. then it is very acceptable place to get good meal and drink.

Reopened on 12 of April 2017, after a renovation, centrally located radiates with the warmth and cosines. This a new restaurant now. The food is excellent, fresh, creative and delicious. Service professional, friendly and helpful. Prices are very worthy the quality of food you get. Highly recommended.

OK the food is very decent and the prices on the menu are on the reasonable side. But when it comes to paying you'd better beware. When the waiter brings you what is supposed to be a bill - in fact a tiny strip of paper with hardly readable hand-written numbers - he just stands there waiting for his money. You pay and since you have never seen notes or coins in this currency it takes you a little while to notice that your change is short of 10 CZK. No big deal.
But if you look into the matter a little further you realise that you have been swindled of more than 20% of the total amount. A bit steep.
So if you still consider this restaurant, be prepared to argue with the waiter in Czech or German or accept to be a generous donator.

We tried to eat here once. The restaurant was full but one table was still available inside. So first waiters did not let us take a sit and when we asked to take a sit outside he refused once more. He was ignoring us. We were sure it was possible to sit outside because one day before saw people sitting outside. Shame, not nice at all for a recommended place by TripAdvisor.
