Clean restaurant with Seating in benches in a “fast food” style.
Friendly, attentive & well turned out staff.
Varied menu, of which we sampled several different styles.
The food was all prepared & presented to a high standard.
Would have been 5 stars but for the price.
It is restaurants prices in a fast food setting.
But otherwise excellent.

Firmly at the top of the list of Central Scotland's best Italian restaurants, it's our unique canal-side location, warm welcome, genuine Italian dishes made from the best ingredients, fine wine and regular entertainment that all adds up to make Gambero Rosso so atmospheric. It's like a Little Venice. Gambero Rosso, winners of the Restaurant of the Year 2016
The food was hot and delicious. We did not have to wait too long to be served. However, unfortunately the staff were aloof and not welcoming.

OK - I have to admit we are fish & chips aficionados & so very hard to please. The freshness of the fish being our premium concern. Have sat in & had takeaways many times over the years, some better than others, but have to say I just enjoy the 'sit in' experience so much more, albeit you pay that little bit more for the experience. For a country surrounded by seas, Scotland has some truly awful excuses for fish & chip places - this is not one of those. Service by a very friendly & efficient young team is very good indeed. Good selection of alternatives including panko breadcrumbs, lemon sole, langoustine tails etc. The haddock supper stands up to & betters a lot of the big hitters in Scotland - notably Anstruther & Cromars - I would say Benny T's beats both of these for service, quality, portion size & overall value for money. These other places, although good, always seem to win all the awards - I suppose it's a case of 'if you don't buy a ticket, ye cannae win the raffle'.;) Anyway, as I've said, I have other favourite shops in far flung places such as Peebles, Oban & Aberdeen but given this place is only 20 mins from my house, it's clearly one of the better places in the central belt. A win-win for me.

Sanam Tandoori Restaurant first opened its doors in 1976 and has gone from strength to strength on the back of authentic Indian cuisine and a dedicated personal service. It was originally founded and managed by Mr Mohammed Anwar until 1999 when he passed the reins down to his sons - Nadeem, Waseem, Naeem and Azeem - who continue to run the restaurant to the present day. Over the years the restaurant has undergone several significant refurbishments - most notably its most recent renovation in November 2012. Today the restaurant is without a doubt one of the most stylish eateries in Central Scotland.

Passing through Falkirk yesterday, I stopped off at Amodo Mio for some lunch.
I had the lobster tortellini with prawn sauce. It was lovely, served with lashings of Parmesan cheese. Tasty, and a perfect sized portion too.
Staff were very friendly, attentive and the service was quick. A lovely restaurant which I'd happily recommend to anyone.

Booked for a late lunch with a Groupon voucher for 2 steaks and a glass of wine good value for money
We initially had a problem the day before when the waiter said we could pick from the groupon menu which did not have steaks on it . We left and later on the manager phoned and sorted the matter out and booked us for today . We were impressed with the way the manager had dealt with the matter and would have no problem recommending the restaurant to our friends

Had an early dinner here the other evening. The food was fantastic loved the wee kelpies starter. The main courses was great too.
The place was mobbed even though we were in early (6pm) so always a good sign. Great atmosphere and the service was good.
My biggest surprise was at the end of the meal when the bill arrived. As we were booked before 7pm a discount was applied to the bill make this an even better experience.
