We have been to Da Graziella many times and the service, ambiance and of course the food has been outstanding every time. There is just that little bit of personal interaction between the owner and ourselves, they are the most humble Italian couple. Love Da Gaziella

Located in the Village View Shopping Centre, and in close proximity to Johannesburg's international airport (OR TAMBO) Pigalle Bedfordview serves exceptional seafood, meat and poultry dishes with a focus on Portuguese inspired cuisine. We place a strong emphasis on personalised silver service with the intention of creating an unforgettable fine dining experience.
Booked a business dinner with customers and directors from abroad. The restauarant was full and is very popular. Enjoyed the butternut soup served as tasters. I ordered a silver fish served in a bed of vegetables, as my favourite, the red snapper was not available. I found the fish to be dry and did not enjoy it. The white wine was good.
Shepard, our waiter, was on the ball.Full marks for good and efficient service.

After booking for dinner, I read the reviews. I was so disappointed that I cancelled our booking. It is unthinkable that a restaurant flaunts the law regarding smoking. We are simply not prepared to visit a restaurant where smokers have more rights that non smokers. It is a restaurant for goodness sake - patrons pay to taste the food.

The food as always excellent, served by friendly and well trained staff. However it is to dark, one cannot read the menue. There should be soothing background music to help conversation between customers. The loud pop is OK for evenings and weekends!
It was realy annoying. The request to reduce the noise was ignored.

Authentic Italian Restaurant based in Edenvale.
A most pleasant evening spent with friends. They have a varied menu, something for everyone: Pizzas, Pastas, Salads, Meat dishes, etc. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm. The service was very good.

Were 3 of us and we enjoyed our coffee which was produced smartly. One person had a "banting" breakfast and it was exactly as required. Will definitely eat there again.

What a fabulous authentic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful to my aged mom in her wheelchair and the food was good old fashioned Mozambique Portuguese! This restaurant is down to earth, unfussy and never fails to please. If you're looking for glamour, don't bother, however, if you want great food and a fab service, I highly recommend it.

I was last at this café at the beginning of the year and my experience was a shocker as written. It has since undergone a name change to "Paolettos" but the menu is still the same and unfortunately, still no change in their dismal slow service.
Was invited to have waffles with friends visiting from abroad. A table of 12 was booked. We sat inside and there wasn't enough ventilation indoors in the sweltering humidity and heat, even though this was mid-morning.
Our drinks order was promptly taken and served, thereafter the service was painfully slow with our waffles being served. We waited for more than 45 mins. Our waiter also did not check to see if we needed more drinks and did not let us know when our waffles were going to be served. I had to find out how much longer. The manager did not even come to our table to ask if all was good. Eventually when the waffles were served, it really just wasn't worth the wait - by then we were all irritated.
I certainly won't be wasting any more time visiting this place.

Sabor is situated on the first floor of the Linksfield Terrace shopping centre just after the Linksfield turn off on the freeway. It is a family friendly owner run restaurant and has your typical Portuguese food. The food is good and prices reasonable.

Always pop in here for a kroket
They have the real Dutch food
And being Dutch I need to have my fix.
I love what they have done for Edenvale
The windmill , the shopping street
Really looks good and updated for edenvale
Some should have followed there foot steps and updated the area.
Sitting in a windmill and experiencing simplicity is what one needs to understand
Steep stairs going up because it's a windmill
The father has now passed away and the son is in his footsteps
A very good concept and it's still going after all these years
Please support them and take your overseas guests to see this especially the ones from holland craving a kroket .
Great place and remember it's a bakery with an extra touch !
