Seafood aficionados take note Augusto Chez Laurent is known as the best, and oldest, seafood restaurant in the chichi seaside resort town of Deauville. Famous for their Breton lobster, the French restaurant which is located on rue Dsir attracts a glamorous crowd, and the dining room is decked out in maritime colour palette of mauve, navy blue and cream. The intimate bistro has a varied menu, and popular dishes include the rib eye steak roasted with pepper and Roquefort cheese; the restaurant's signature Breton lobster roasted with basil butter; and the Chantilly crumble with apples and dates, jam, milk foam and dark chocolate sauce.
Cannot comment on food as despite a reservation & being shown to our table no one actually came to serve us! No water, no drinks, just menus as we sat down. The restaurant wasn't full & didn't seem particularly busy. Attempts to catch the waiter's eye were studiously denied. When eventually a waiter deemed to ask if we'd like a drink our comment that we'd been waiting 30 minutes prompted a haughty correction that we'd been waiting only 26 minutes. Having studied the pricey menu for those 26 minutes it was an easy decision, we left. Customer service clearly not a priority.

This place has amazing decorations and a lovely husband and wife team running it. I think her name was Natalie. We had not booked but were warmly welcomed. We were watched over by the lobsters in the tank awaiting their fate. The place has real...MoreThanks a lot, we love our job and the Best, it's when the guest are like you, simply "adorables", we hope to see you again in our restaurant, with pleasure !!!! Nathalie

We called to reserve for two, arrived a few minutes early and were promptly seated. The Waitstaff was charming, very professional. We shared a plate of mixed seafood, which was fresh and delightful, oysters fabulous, very clean and tasty bulots (sort of like sea snails). For main dishes we ordered the choucroute de la mer and the tuna with sesame, a glass of cheverny to go along with them. The dishes were copious. Only qualm was the main courses were a tad too salty. Would definitely recommend though, and return.

Went here for dinner with some clients, who had been here the yaer before. This restaurant did not disappoint. The starters of prawn and other seafood were excellent , and the main courses deliocious. As usual desserts were produced by the pastry chef near the table. Service was good and overall an excellent meal. Only negative is that when it came to paying the bill, the waiter asked for a service contribution, which was starnge seeing as the service was already included in the bill. Other than that little glitch it was a great meal

Sur les celebres planches de Deauville, le Ciro's Barriere propose une cuisine ambitieuse qui met a l'honneur les produits de l'ocean.
in location, service and the sole meuniere. We try to come for lunch every time we are visiting Normandy.
The location directly at the beach and its Promenade. At anytime of the year worth to visit. The service, longtime waiters and very attentive. Our favorite a huge sole, don't order a big starter unless you are very hungry. The sole is the biggest I ever had in a Restaurant, tasty and accompanied with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Have a Glas of wine enjoy it.

Cuisine créative et raffinée, service décontracté mais professionnel, pour un repas entre amis ou pour un tête à tête romantique.Nous seront là pour vous accueillir avec le sourire.
Beautiful room. Fantastic food. Everything we ate. Magnificent M. Courbeur Whisky as Aperitif. Decided for 2 first courses- a Gaspacho and a squid based plate. Marvelous. Only problem was the service, or its attitude or both. Left me with an uneasy feeling that we decided to leave without the anticipated digestif and coffee. I shall not return, neither recommend .

A small restaurant with great relaxed atmosphere for enjoying delicious meal. All the details of the interior design and serving dishes are carefully thought-out. I risked to try the pigeon - it was scrumptious! Now I have a different look at the doves that land on my window sill at home :)) And the overall bill was not high, while you feel like in Michelin starred place. Highly recommended!

Ferme pour travaux de renovation du 06 novembre 2017 au 13 decembre 2017<br>au plaisir de vous accueillir dans notre nouveau decor
I went online to find a restaurant near us which was child friendly, however this was not the one. On TripAdvisor it was rated at #1 for "kid friendly restaurants in Deauville". I agree with this if the child is not a toddler as there...Moreje suis désolée mais notre restaurant n'est pas un lieu où les enfants peuvent gambader partout une tenue est exigée...

Enjoyed both lunch & dinner at Cocotte during our holiday. We seldom return to restaurants when visiting places as there's always so many to try out but this place really warranted a return! Such great food & such excellent value too. We couldn't believe the value in a generally quite expensive location for eating & drinking. The slightly cartoon signage & name hides what is truly a super little bistro. Really delicious, fabulous quality, & great service. Very highly recommend.

Charlotte Corday is a famous name in Normandy, and so is this patisserie. Although on the expensive side, it serves very good quality pastries. Their croissants are amazing, as are their quiches and the cheese and ham feulleté. Service can be tricky. If the owner is there then the service is impeccable. If she's not then the waitresses have a tendency to hang around and chat. But whatever you do, make sure you taste their croissants!
