Chongqing ([ʈʂʰʊ̌ŋ.tɕʰîŋ] ( listen)), formerly romanized as Chungking, is a major city in southwest China. Administratively, it is one of China's four direct-controlled municipalities (the other three are Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin), and the only such municipality in China located far away from the coast.

Absolutely love this hot pot restaurant. From the old Red Army outfits and Mao themes to the spectacularly SPICY hot pot. I don't think you can say you have had hot pot until you have visited this chain of restaurants. Fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Has a big bar area where you make your sauces to dip your meat/fish into.

When you think of food from Chong Qing, spiciness definitely is the first thing that comes to mind. Locals recommended this noodles, and we noticed long queues from 好又来. However, nothing much is different from other stalls - the spiciness overwhelmed all other tastes. Would recommend going opposite this and order from a stall which you can ask for less spice. Can't exactly remember the price but it seems cheaper in other stalls too.

Looking at the description of this place I was not sure if it was the same 'Latest Recipe' Restaurant that we attende. But the Address of 10 Jiangnan Aveenue is correct but we were at Le Meridien Hotel not WanDa AiMei Hotel as stated in the details of the page. Our breakfast was excellent with a good variety of dishes available to choose from and all that we tasted was great.

Enjoy local flavors in a modern Chinese ambiance at Jin Yao Xuan. Stretching from the 53rd to the 54th floor—with the floors connected by a grand staircase and internal lift—this entrancing restaurant presents bird’s-eye city and river views through glass walls or outdoors, on the 54th floor. A glass pool adds to the contemporary setting, providing a semi-outdoor dining experience. The pool is also visible from the 53rd floor through glass flooring, which extends to the viewing deck. The breathtaking setting is matched only by the enticing cuisine, which unites a passion for the freshest seafood—flown in daily—with traditional Chongqing hotpot. Indulge in locally inspired, epicurean specialties, like Cantonese abalone stew, lobster, and fresh organic mushrooms, or opt for gourmet meat options, such as 4A-grade marbled beef slices and handmade meatballs. There is a private dining area on the 54th floor, which can be portioned for privacy and seats up to ten guests. Reservations are recommended for private dining.
I loved Jin Yao Xuan - so much I went twice in my short stay in Chongqing. Modern environment for a very good flavoured Chongqing hotpot with excellent ingredients. Gari ups, turbot and beef were all really fresh tasting. Wine also available as per Westin list which was reasonable. My mandarin is not good but the serving team spoke enough English so there were no problems. Thank you for bringing the good flavours of Chongqing into the Westin. Thanks also to Stephen the manager who skilfully helped in finalising arrangements.

Was told that it was a nice restaurant, obviously it was Chinese New Year so it was empty, but nevertheless either you open and you are ready or you should close.
It is an Italian with American music ??? Italian wine are expensive for what it is. The antipasti was good, nice variety. Then the penne Puttanesca were just horrible (why put Szechuan pepper in the sauce) it ruined the taste, and the pizza had more green hot peppers than anything else, and during our meal (RMB 950 for two ) they asked us if we were going to eat desserts because the chef wanted to go home. No wonder they have no one.
The server was probably the only one worth as he even escorted us outside to make sure we get a cab.
