Contemporary Caribbean Dining with international flair. Bogles Round House is a memorable Experience well worth uncovering.
I visited this glorious slice of paradise for my birthday in 2014. The hosts were fantastic and responsive. The meal is one of the best I've ever had. Having lived in some of the most food centric cities in the US (Chicago, NYC), I think that pays Bogle's a high compliment. The roundhouse is perfectly decorated with items scavenged from the local landscape. To top off the excellent meal, we ordered a custom birthday cake that was to die for. I highly recommend eating here regardless of your lodging.

Every meal at the Pirates Cove Restaurant was delicious. The presentation was beautiful. The atmosphere was well thought out looking like a cove looking out to sea. Well done and very relaxing to be in. The staff was very friendly and well trained. The view is the best from the restaurant and from the Veranda over looking Grand Anse Beach and the town and Mountains in the distant. You could never get tired of the view.

We have visited Carriacou several times but have never been to the Lambi Queen before.
The French chef from Morninga in Hillsborough, (now closed) has taken over and I think that they have also moved along the road to just past the Gallery cafe.
We were visiting Tyrrel Bay for lunch as they have much better restaurants than Hillsborough, and came upon the Lambi Queen unexpectedly. Good, short menu of local style dishes and really reasonable prices. Good music.
I had lambi fritters (what else?) and husband had crab back. Both delicious. Crab back better than at BB's in St George's.

Our tour guide brought us here. When we walked in I was less than impressed, but the people were very friendly and the food was really good.
My husband had the catch of the day (Mahi Mahi) and said it was the best he has ever had. I had the fried chicken (asked for grilled) but it was really good. I love fried chicken but it's always too greasy and this wasn't at all.
We were very surprised by the quality. We would return here again.
My only complaint - the wash room is an outhouse at the far back of the property (I will assume no lighting at night to guide you) and it didn't flush. When I mentioned this there didn't seem to be any hurry to fix it .....

We have been in Carriacou for two weeks now and have visited the Hard Wood Bar on several occasions. Without exception each time we have been greeted warmly and service has always been prompt. Joy organised trips to Sandy Island and White Island for us which were great fun and at EC 20 and EC100 respectively were the cheapest prices we found. Boston, our water taxi skipper was polite , prompt and good fun too.
Although we did not eat here the aromas coming from the kitchen would suggest that the food would be good too.The bakery van visits around 2pm each day and have lovely bread and patties. The ladies from the toilets have sun beds to rent too.
I would highly recommend the Hard Wood bar.

This restaurant is secluded behind a large door, with accommodation attached. The staff are extremely attentive, have been there several years. However the menu is very limited, usually no more than two or three starters or main courses and often only one choice of dessert.

Welcome to the Lazy Turtle Restaurant & Pizzeria. Our laid back restaurant & bar on the beautiful island of Carriacou is located right on the beach with panoramic views of Tyrell Bay. Come and chill out on the deck and join us for lunch, dinner or just a few cold beers taking in the stunning views and Caribbean sunsets! Moor up at own dinghy dock or park on the road for direct access to a unique Caribbean experience. We provide free hi speed wifi and a great atmosphere.
I've visited the Lazy Turtle a few times, and never been disappointed. The setting is idyllic and the pizzas are cooked just right - nice thin crusts with not too much topping, all washed down with a bottle of Carib. Great!
Only downside, was that I left my baseball cap there by mistake - Guess I'll have to go back again next year to get it back - and have another pizza.

Waterfront, open air Seating facing the moorings on Tyrrel Bay.
On our recent trip to Carriacou we visited Slipway restaurant for dinner twice as it is always such a delight. It is a lovely location, looking out at sunset across the lights of the yachts in Tyrell Bay. It can be hard to find and to access by road, but it is always worth the effort. As ever, the food was excellent and the service was laid back and friendly. Kate’s cooking is always a delight, with the tuna a special favourite of ours – both the tuna carpaccio for a starter and the superb rare-cooked tuna steak for main course. The setting is a wonderfully rustic environment, with the old boat building equipment adorning both the restaurant and the approach from the car park above, and the simple wooden tables with the little pieces of rock holding down the serviettes. A truly lovely, romantic setting with wonderful food. We will be certain to visit there on every trip we make to the lovely restful island.

Loved this little place in a great spot right on the sea. Fantastic local beef burgers, honestly the best we've had ANYWHERE, and we live in a place where our local beef is very good! But these were excellent, very roughly ground and fantastic flavouring... impressive! Shame about the surly bar lady! We had read from others that the welcome was rude and we tried our level best to get a chatty conversation going but never succeeded in getting so much as a smile! Apparently its just her way, but it is a shame! If you dont mind entertaining yourself and enjoying the view it's a great little place!

On the main street, going to the left when coming off the ferry, almost opposite the Flow phone store. There is an awning over the door with a passage way to the back, where we have views overlooking the sea, Jack O Dan, all the way to Union Island.
Lovely lunch, with nice apple juice. Friendly, efficient and relaxed service. You can see into the kitchen and all wraps , sandwiches were prepared to order. Homemade coleslaw . I think lady serving was the owner, she was lovely. Would go back.Thank you for the lovely review and would be great to see you back.
