Husband had seafood chowder and garlic toast- very good... I had chicken wrap and fries - good... ate in bar area as lunchtime and restaurant wasn’t open yet... not crowded and quick service.

The Big D was a favorite of young and old for years and years. Once I left the area I used to dream of having a Danny Burger.
Not like I remembered, it is so greasy. I had a friend with me and I have been talking Danny Burger for years. UGH The quality is no longer there and so greasy. My friend couldn't finish hers. I finished mine but sadly will not go back.
If you have never been to an actual drive in, try it for the experience not the food.

Handy diner in the downtown with good food, immaculate dining room, and reasonable prices. When you're looking to avoid the fast food franchises, pick this one for a nice Sandwich and coffee or homemade soup or chowder. Extensive menu.

- Food was not that great
- Service was slow, even though restaurant was almost empty
- Portion sizes are very small
- Prices are very high
- Bathroom was dirty
- Tablecloth was stained
- Overall restaurant seemed grungy
- Asked waitress for peanut sauce, she asked what we needed it for
Suggestions for staff:
- Clean your restaurant
- Put on some music for ambiance
- We all know how cheap you get rice and noodles, make your portion sizes double, especially considering your high prices
- Put chili sauce and peanut sauce on the tables, these are a big part of the meal
- Seat and get a drink to customers quickly
- Make your fried rice fresh so you don't have to soak it with soy sauce to make it edible

I had perhaps the best salad I have ever eaten at this restaurant. On top of that I have celiacs disease and the chef was able to accommodate my gluten issues. My husband had the salmon Newburgh and was equally impressed and he finished off his meal with a fabulous piece of chocolate cake. If you find yourself in Bathurst New Brunswick you simply should eat here

Well we were hungry and didn't want to try something out of the box, so we looked for St Huberts and found the express! I had never been in the express before, but a great concept. Restaurant food , but fast like a fast food joint. Love it. It was clean and the staff friendly. Appreciated the bilingual menu. You can by the combos and drinks and cole slaw included.
