We came there because we passed by the restaurant by accident.
The food was good, although we thought it was missing the last 2 % to be 5 points.
The restaurant itself is very nice. The choice of food is limited but suited our tastes.
As mostly in France you can take a menu or chose parts of them. This restaurant offers two categories. Both were good!
The service was very good and would be reason for 5 points in our opinion.
Prices are ok. "Small" menu was 39 and big menu 52€
That us definitely more than ok for what you get

It was the 'frescos' in the corridor to the courtyard that caught our attention as we were passing in the afternoon, so we went back for dinner. What a lovely setting; very theatrical. The food was excellent and the patron/waiter was friendly and attentive. We sat inside - it was April after all - and it was cosy.
We would have gone again if there had been enough days.

My friend has recommended this place as a dinner venue and we were not disappointed once we found it in site of deceiving mobile navigation. The place is rather small with 5-6 tables, funky design, one man show but very skillful. The food is creative but without extremes, I.e. you still can see and understand what you eat, really nicely cooked.
I think, apart from visitors who heard about this place from someone or stumbled upon it by chance, this guy has a fun club consisting of local people. We saw him greeting a number of guests as old friends.
Overall, great food and ambiance, very enjoyable!

One of the best dining experiences we have had. Food was excellent and so was the wine. Restaurant is very well presented/decorated. Waitress was (at least) bi-lingual and great care taken to make sure everything was good without being intrusive. Enjoyed it so much we went back again.
Menu is not extensive but feel that meant you got top quality meals.

This is an excellent small husband-and-wife run restaurant. It is simple and well priced, with excellent food served with a smile by the very friendly owner who told us that her husband does all of the cooking! An amazing achievement considering the excellent quality. My smoked duck with celery salad and rocket starter was delicious, and my main course angus steak was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

"Le Petit Gourmand" is a typical french food small restaurant providing home made meals cooked by the Chef close to you as if you were at home. 16 seats inside and double possible outside during the beautiful season (outside Terrace here may be used more than 6 months per year from Easter). We have a special meal called "Secca d'Entrevaux" (thin slices of dried beef with pesto, potatoe in a owen, hot melted cheese and mesclun). Other "must": fresh pastas with truffle, or fresh raviolis with foie gras inside and a few desserts that you may find all in our "Café Gourmand".The rest of the dishes are proposed according to the season.

After visiting the Cascades du Sautadet in the afternoon, we drove back to Avignon to stay the night. We looked through the recommendations and settled on L'Ubu for the vegetarian/Vegan options that people mentioned.
We parked at the JEAN JAURÈS and walked though the old city. The GPS app did not find the address correctly but we found the place through old school technique ...looking at street markings!
There is Seating both inside and outside on the street, we chose to sit outside since there is small canal and the ambience is amazing in a summer evening. There is usually a set menu for the day and our waiter was very energetic is proposing how they can customize it for us.
The food was really tasty and portions were decent too, we ordered only one dessert to share!
Great service, good food and amazing ambience for a summer evening. Highly recommended!

As a group we visited this restaurant and can only confirm the TripAdvisor rating! All the meals were excellent. We all chose from the special menu and it really was excellent value at 20 Euro. The waiter was fantastic and we all enjoyed his humor.
Would go again in a minute!

Le Coude a Coude is a French traditional restaurant which propose home made food. The food is prepared with fresh products and regional ingredients. Open from Tuesday to Sunday (12h - 14h) and from Wednesday night to Saturday night (19h30 - 22h) in a friendly and family environment.
Something not right on this one.
Price on 3 course fixed menu is $23.90 not $19.50 as per reviews.
Food is ok but ridiculously small portion and the "fillet mignon" is pork.
So many misleading reviews, large signs touting TripAdvisor on the front tables and and a mediocre experience adding up to possible manipulation.
Fact is the menu is very limited only 2 choices per course and we were disappointed with all as expected much better according to reviews.
Prices are actually high considering the amount served per course.
Also, no locals eating around us only a few fellow travelers.

My wife and I had one of their many selections, Quatre Stagioni, and we're very pleasantly surprised by the good taste, nice spices, and freshness of the ingredients. We are pretty selective for good food, and this place satisfied our taste buds very much. We accompanied the pizza with a carafe of wine. The culinary experience was great. To top it off, the staff is very friendly, upbeat, happy, and clearly enjoy being there. You'll be very pleased.
