I had lunch here once. The environment and food was exactly how I imagined it to be. A standard swedish pizza/greek joint. Nothing out of the ordinary. Friendly staff. The food arrived swiftly and was ok cooked and plated. If you're looking for more than a standard pizza or meat with french fries, this is not the place for you.
If I am to pass through Arvidsjaur again I might use this restaurant again to fill up with carbs, fat and protein but not to fill up with an excellent food experience.

Rentierfleisch.

This cafe/restaurant looks pretty cosy and traditional from the outside. Indeed it has some outside Seating. It has had a recent refurb which is really quite bland, though clean and pleasant enough. We called in, as we have done several times over the years, for the Dagens Menu. To be frank, it is poor value. The food is generally school dinners standard, kept luke warm and with an un-appetising selection of vegetables, bread and salad. Coffee is average at best and there is no dessert included. It has to be said that the food and value are much better at the nearby Laponia hotel (who also do a Lunch Menu). I don't like writing bad reviews but after paying 85kr a head, I felt pretty short changed. As for the service, the girl at the counter could not really have been less interested. If you own this place and you are Reading, you need to raise your game.

Stayed on full board for 3 days and were impressed by meals. Nice buffet breakfast and lunch (what we needed and fresh and nice, and the hotel was not full in early April). First night was a late buffet dinner and the last 2 nights 3 course a la carte dinners taht were superb! Highly recommended by 10 Norwegians who work in the travel industry and also own hotels and restaurants. Thanks to Janne and his crew for excellent service!

I'm at the moment working at Rolle's Krog and have been tasting some of the food we serve, and it is delicious! We serve everything from Swedish starters to burgers, fish and chips, salads and steaks. The portions are big so there's no chance for you to leave hungry. My personal favorite is the sirloin steak, which probably is the best piece of meat I've ever had! If you're in "town" you have to pay Rolle's Krog a visit! I can promise you you won't regret it!

The bistro was closed and "moved" to the bbq-cabin by the lake.
Nice view towards the lake, big portions. I got a starter and a main course and got really full. The drink g suggestions in the menu worked well.
The loocal beer "Nausta" was a good companion with the starter platter with assorted local variatiin of food.

Amanda, the owner made one of the best Spanish buffées I have eaten. A funny mix of mediterranean ingredients and game.

This was the only crowded restaurant the night I was in town and now I know why. Our two dishes, salmon and veggie burger, were quite simple but tasty. The place is very nice and picturesque and the crowd was very mixed.
