This restaurant was recommended as the best restaurant in Amalfi, he was right. This is a significant step up from the rather disappointingly narrow food choice available in the resort high streets pizza/pasta places of Amalfi and Sorrento, so expect to pay a little more. Highlights are the superb and extensive wine selection, Spaghetti in baking parchment paper with clams, olives, capers, fresh tomatoes and oregano, and the steamed seafood salad.
Run by a local family, we were picked up from Amalfi town by a very pleasant young man, part of the owning family, providing a FREE pickup service, absolutely superb.
I've mentioned some savoury courses but also don't miss one of the fish dish and even more, the sweets made by mama (or was it grand-mama...anyway), delicious!!
The restaurant itself is a delight, the service was warm, friendly, informative and fun.
Pay your money and go there, don't miss it!!

Historical mediterranean family restaurant since 1965, featuring passion, authentic food from local ingredients and warm hospitality
This is the second time we visit a restaurant.
Good location between Praiano and Positano with private parking,
The food in the restaurant is simply amazing, on the one hand traditional Italian and simple and on the other modern and sophisticated.
Without doubt our favorite restaurant in the area.

Here at Bacco we believe in a serene and joyful idea of life embracing the virtues of old traditions. We refuse any conformism and we strive to rediscover ancient smells and flavors typical of this land. We believe that wine and food are an essential part of a country's culture as well as life pleasures. Even in modern life, nature still offers us beautiful and great gifts, we just need to learn to receive them. All of these ideas are reflected in our dishes and we know we will be able to give you an unforgettable experience that will call you back time and time again.
Unfortunately, I think language was the barrier here. We ate at the restaurant three times for dinner and in that time we ended up paying £52 for my partner's steak because the menu's explanations weren't clear and I was brought the wrong order (which I just ate because we had waited so long). To be fair, the latter was on a live music night and the place was packed full of locals on the veranda (which we never seemed to be allowed to sit on).

Wish I had discovered this place earlier. It's worth many repeat visits. Right by the beach so the view was great. Family run so friendly intimate service. I enjoyed an aperol spritz, seafood risotto, salad and tiramisu. All washed down with a lovely glass of dry white. Highly recommended.

Was recommended by the owner of our B & B. We found that the quality/price ratio was fair. In addition, waiters are constantly pushing you for everything.

The restaurant service which is named "Holidays fico d'india Lo Scrivano", or the copyist, was born just for the purpose, to copy antic dishes from the Amalfi Coast and Furore and fit them to a more modern style. This service is has been trusted to employees that have the passion and care needed for the restaurant service and have worked for over 3 generations.Immersed under orange trees, lemon trees, and bay leaf trees our guest have the opportunity to taste dishes made fresh from typical vegetables found in this area.OUR CUISINE Traditional cuisine Coast menu choice between 3/1 and 3/2 pasta and homemade desserts always provided Fish Celiac menus, vegans and vegetarians , panoramic dining room , extensive wine list , waiter service . Stayed here for three nights and cannot recommend it highly enough, fabulous peaceful location away from the teeming masses on amalfi coast road, lovely quirky rooms fresh and very clean. Amazing breakfast and delicious dinner served al fresco. Pino and his team cannot do more for you, he even drove us to shop to buy bus tickets then drove us to bus stop!

hello, we are a familiar restaurant from 50 years more or less, my mother CLELIA opened this restaurant but unfortunately is not anymore with us, but we continue to give to our customer the same love service and friendly relationship .
Ate here twice, one lunch and one evening meal. The older chap ( probably the owner) was warm and welcoming each time, which always sets the scene for us. Even then would have been happy with average food but this was anything but. Wonderful lemon and prawn risotto and mussels and sea bass in the evening all cooked to perfection. Good advice on local and inexpensive wines. The location is not the most perfect - the restaurant sees little sun and is by a packed and noisy beach but don't let that put you off. You won't pay a premium for a view but the place has a lovely ambience.

Located in one of most scenic spots of the coast. This name brings to mind beautiful floral scents and hints ancient. In 2015 and was the start of our project to make this wine bar a small restaurant where revive traditional cuisine, closely linked to the territory; a cuisine made of simple things, but not trivial, strictly fresh ingredients, genuine and mostly seasonal. The menu of fresh seafood, fresh pasta, buffalo mozzarella, salads, grilled meats and vegetables, make this one of the most popular restaurants in the area. Since we are also the best wines Italian, to live up to our vocation of wine bar.
Best dining experience of my entire life. Walking in and feeling the cold A/C engulf you was the first A+. Being greeted like you are a family member was the second. An intimate restaurant, with Seating for approximately only 20 people, it truly feels like...MoreThank you for reviewing! Cheerful evening made by nice people as you were all. We are delighted to have fully satisfied your taste. Sincerely. Greetings from Mario

Carbonara was uneventful, Fritti mixed, primarily sardines with small shrimp. Veal was decent. Pork was tender. Fruit de Mare seafood properly cooked, but not an event.
A convenience if you are staying at or near their hotel, & don't want to drive, on Amalfi Coast @ night.

The food was great, but the staff was even better!
Elio was exceptional, very friendly and made our night very entertaining!
The caprese salad was one of the best I tried in Italy! I can't have enough of those mozzarella di bufala!
For the main dish, I had the Castagna fish with orange sauce which was very tasty.
Highly recommended!
