We were bypassing this place enroute from Jammu to Kashmir. Due to excessive rain, highway was closed and we had to stay in Patnitop for a night.
Our driver suggested us to visit Nathatop as thinking there could be snow. We started for Nathatop, hired shoes and gloves. After going halfway, it was all white outside, snowing like anything. There weren't designated parking but parking park on side of road. Lot of snow to play with. Enough store to get tea and maggi.
Overall best place in Nathatop.

Sanansar, also known as Mini Gulmarg of Jammu is situtaed nearly 20 kms. from Patnitop. sanasar is named after a Sarovar in the meadows. There is a vast ground surrounded by Trees and a small water body alongside. Staying there is cheaper than Patnitop and the weather is nice n cool. Those who visit Patnitiop must give a visit there and also eat the local cuisines.

This small hill station is around 65 kms from Katra as we took a taxi to visit here. You'll find the great views along with deodar trees on the way.
The place is having wooden cottages which will feel immense pleasure to stay in. You can also enjoy activities like horse riding, jumping, paragliding , snow games ( if you go in winter)
the place is as good to stay 4 to 5 hrs and you'll feel the beauty of kasmir entrance from here.
Overall a worth visit to travel once here.

Chenani-Nashri Tunnel, also known as Patnitop Tunnel, is a road tunnel in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir on NH 44 (former name NH 1A before renumbering of all national highways). The work was started in 2011[1] and was inaugurated on 2 April 2017 by Prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi. It is India's longest road tunnel with a length of 9.28 km (5.8 mi).
Its a 10km long, beautiful, well lighted tunnel with some of the latest automated features. Its a perfect example of India's advancement in latest technologies. The day we visited, the tunnel was crowded with long queues of vehicles waiting to enter either side, but J&K traffic police managed it easily & once we entered it was a long smooth ride.

We have travelled from Amirtsar to Leh, enroute after Patnitop, we saw this dam.
The dam view site is on the highway from here you get a beautiful view of this huge dam. The hotel from where this dam view point is (I dont remember the hotel name), you will get very tasty Rajma Chawal. Its a Kashmiri rice (with long grains), Rajma & they pour atleast 50 ml ghee on it. Its a finger licking experience
So dont miss the Rajma-Chawal here!

you can always try and visit this place while going towards Patnitop.
if you wish to go here and visit these stairs then you have to skip the tunnel way and pass through Kud market.
Its an half an hour place to visit and just calm, nothing much to get attracted to.

I had read the sole review of it but decided to go anyway. It was a bitter experience as the gentleman in his review had mentioned. I don't understand as to why has TripAdvisor added it in their List of Attractions. Instead they should add attractions like Nathatop and Sanasar promptly to this List.
