The Concert Hall at Victoria Hall is available for rent for events including corporate meetings and seminars, lectures, exhibits, balls and receptions. Enjoy your wedding reception or special occasion in Victorian splendour. The Concert Hall has been fully restored to its Grand Ballroom glory with full accessibility. The Concert Hall also features live theatre Performances.
I recently attended a wedding held in the old courtroom inside of Victoria Hall. What an incredible venue with its unparallelled architecture and beautifully kept interior. I understand originally that Cobourg was considered for a capital city and thus a grand Town Hall was built.
While I was there I also visited the Art Gallery of Northumberland located on the third floor of the Victoria Hall. This is a lovely little gallery that hosts a great many wonderful artists. I highly recommend visiting Victoria Hall!

The Sifton-Cook Heritage Centre opened in 2012 in what may be Cobourg's oldest building. Exhibits, videos and an operating 250ft Model Railway tell the story of our Town's history. In 2018 our theme will be "Cobourg & Area - Our Built Heritage ". But you won't want to miss the railway! The Centre is located at Durham & Orr Streets, just 3 blocks west of historic Victoria Hall. Our season runs from the Victoria Day weekend through Canadian Thanksgiving. In May, June, September & October we are open weekends only - In July and August we are open daily except Monday and Tuesday.
This place is a must! Enthusiasts working here created a very informative and interesting exposition. Stanley, George, Marg and all the staff share their knowledge and their passion with every visitor! You will be surprised by the facts you learn here. This Centre works like a time machine! Bring your kids and see how excited they will be!

I adored our quick visit to the Cobourg marina. We were fortunate to visit on a bright sunny day, and you almost can't believe we are in Ontario. The view was fantastic. Easy to find parking. Be prepared to walk a bit in order to see everything the marina has to offer. You can drive right out onto the pier, almost to the lighthouse, so do that before you park. The beautiful beach is right beside the marina, so bring your stuff for a swim if you are visiting on a nice day!

The Cobourg Farmers' Market has been located at this spot since the mid-1800s, and now provides the best variety of fresh produce in the area, including grass-raised beef, organic chicken, & heritage pork (Kingsholm Farms), fresh fruit & great jams (Moore Orchards), amazing pies (Victoria's Pastry), organic vegetables & fruit (Art Farm), etc. Lots of vendors with a good variety of products, even freshly-made donuts for the kids. Open from May through December, every Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Right across from the Millstone Bakery and down the street from The Human Bean fair-trade coffee shop. Lots of free parking nearby. Cobourg is very fortunate to have this quality of a Farmers' Market and it definitely is a big draw each Saturday morning, so come early before they are sold out.

Perhaps because we visited soon after Remembrace Day, the gallery featured an excellent WW1 exhibit. There's a video, all kinds of memorabilia from local people and lots of photos. Well worth seeing. The Gallery itself is on the top floor of the town hall, with a courtrom that is so beautifully restored.

Northumberland County's favourite Craft Brewing destination is the William Street Beer Co. Join us at our Cobourg Brewery and Tap Room for sampling flights, artisan food items and Live Music on Thursdays and Saturdays. All of these are available with a front row seat to our production facility.
Awesome tap room and brewery with excellent craft beer, delicious food and friendly staff! Open concept so you can see everything that going on. Love the walk in self-serve beer cooler... beautiful bar with stainless steel plate to keep the beer cold. The perfect place to hang out with a few friends or even host an event. Highly recommended!! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
