Nice visitation to Edakkal Caves. Amaze absolutely amazing. With my parents who are around 60 years old, we completed in less than 2 hours. However it does get tiresome so go ay your own pace. But it is a must visit! To wall into a cleft where our ancestors wrote on rocks and to fully comprehend the significance of it is a very grounding feeling and an all-encompassing one. Enjoyed good time.,

The museum is quite close to Edakkal Caves. The museum is well maintained , clean and has a fairly good collection of things.... All of them are well documented written in English and easily understandable.
However this museum has limited artefacts on display. It should try to house much much more so that kids can get a feeling of them and probably connect to ancient history which they study……..
Seeing the museum will take a time of 30 to 45 minutes.. The staff is very cooperative…..

After visiting Wayanad Heritage Museum, we visited RARS because it is nearby. May be we visited on a wrong time. It was sunday and the fruit market was closed. Because of summer heat, the flowers had dried up. There's a small park with slides and swings. so children can have fun time. A small zoo with a few birds in it. It 'is a big park, however poorly maintained. Nothing is available inside. So you have to bring food and water from outside itself. There were very few visitors.

The church was initially started by the French Missionaries and later on with the migration of people from all parts of Kerala and from other states like Tamilnadu and Karnataka, Sulthan Bathery became more populated. The Church was under several dioceses and presently under Mananthavady diocese. The new church is well planned with worship space for a large number of persons and the interiors are well decorated. The annual festival is in January during which thousands gather here to offer prayers. The church is open for prayers to all irrespective of caste and while we were there we saw people from other states offering prayers.

Is comparatively a small water fall which dries up during summer season near Sulthan Bathery, but worth visiting to enjoy the scenic beauty and also for trekking. Really a nice place to visit and your camera will have a lot to capture.

There are 4 parking so pick the 3 or 4th parking which is near by the place. In the starting this steep road. There are lots of monkey so please beware of the same. Enough shops to have some snacks. Rs 20 is entry fee for adult and for camera Rs 50 is charged.
After entering from the ticket counters stairs and rock climbing (5-10 mins walk of rock) are started. Total 2 caves but i didn't found anything exiting about it. Again not a must visit place.

From GPS -neelimala view point location ,u have to park your vehicle and pay for entrance & Jeep ...Total Rs: 500 for two people...But no bill or ticket in return......So hope the amount they taking is correct....You can even opt for walking the whole instead of taking Jeep from this location.... The jeep will stop @ a specific location from there you have to trek around to see the views .......You can see Meenukutty water falls,Sooripara water falls, River, Tamil Nadu Border from it......The views keep on changing in minutes ....sometimes fog will block the views....sometimes movement Shadows of clouds makes specific areas dark & lighter...Since there is chance of tigers ,bears & other wild animals in this trekking area ,after 5pm only local tribes are allowed to go there......
