We were brought here by our local friends. There is ample parking available. We had a good time eating a variety of local delicacies like Boiled Rice, Chicken Ghee Roast, Fish Curry, Fish Masala Fry, Fish Tava Fry, Prawn Ghee Roast. All the dishes were tasty.
The service was impeccable. Absolutely no reason to complain. Go here for a nice time with great food.

The city's only all-day cafe, a popular hangout serving an exciting array of Continental, Italian & South Indian Cuisine.

Has variety of Sizzlers for choice which really tastes superb for the value one pays... Fresh sea fish is delicacy.(Look for today's special) The place is little over stuffy due to limited space and all tables covered with sizzler;s smoke. Frequented by young crowd and family members. Location is little inside - by lane but not difficult to trace . Tried Chicken BBQ sizzler / smoked Promphet / Lobsters sizzler

Provides Indian Veg Dishes.
Everyone wrote about this hotel. My experience is completely different. Yes seems to be a very old & Traditional hotel Period.
Service very poor.
Food was just average.
Coffee was worst.
They seem to use Dalda and ghee (which the server too acknowledges).
Being a South Indian I can vouch that the taste of most food here is just average.
Not worth, wont recommend.

Well I had visited on 2nd July, weekend so it was full,I had to choose the Terrace place.
Thank god it was not crowded. Lucky me I thought. It was 9:40 pm. But then I waited....I waited....I waited....I waited....I waited....I waited....I waited....until 10:30pm I was asked Sir the restaurant is closing so would like to order?. Pathetic Service. To answer I said does he wish me to order and start eating after 11:00pm??
He said no one sir ,you should called us. Very Hilarious. They were serving other tables ,even none had called them.
AND I am absolutely sure, this does not even change anything for them. They take it for granted, customer would always come in,hence they are not bothered to give a little bit service, even if for first time.

Chuteny is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Mangalore. Its located in the ground floor of Hotel Deepa Comforts. Very nice ambiance and a very good hygienic food served here. Parking is available within the hotel complex itself. Good for business meeting or family get together. I have been many time here for breakfast here. Breakfasts here are considered one of the best in town.

A part of Goldfinsh hotels, It serves authentic Konkan food with a difference. the food , ambience and service is fabulous!!Its been in Mangalore for about 6 years atleast. A very popular restaurant for locals and vistors alike.
A nice place to have food and the restaurant has a decent variety. The restaurant is on the 8th floor and one can have a good view of the City from here. The service staff were very courteous and helpful. Definitely worth it.
