MARVEL - CONTEMPLATE - COMPREHENDWith more than 60 wet and wonderful stations, the Hexenwasser theme park, meaning Witch Water, offers a natural experience and encourages the whole family to discover and explore - daily from 09.00 am to 5.30 pm.Humming stone, witch’s fireplace, singing water bowl, witch’s stone mill, home of the queen bee, witch’s ladder…these are the mysterious titles, as though in a picture book! Anyone aged 3 to 103 can read this book! The people in charge of each station make sure visitors get to see and experience the fascinating wonders of nature in a fun way. Walking barefoot over rocks and stones, through streams and meadows on the longest barefoot trail is reflexology for your feet and revives the entire body. Watch the bees coming and going in the Bee Theatre, copy the bees’ tail wagging dance or even go into the pitch-black beehive, and you’ll soon be walking on air too!
The Austrians really know how to keep kids entertained, we found loads of great attractions for children and this was the highlight. Situated in a beautiful spot halfway up a mountain it has loads of water-based features and attractions. Our son loved it and we probably walked a good couple of miles without noticing it. It took a couple of hours or so for us to get round and he could easily have stayed longer. Plenty of nice spots to stop for a picnic.

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the world. 284 Km of ski runs, 90 modern cable cars and lifts and 77 rustic Alpine huts and apres ski bars are all easily accessed from the villages of Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Kelchsau, Scheffau, Soll and Westendorf.
Fantastic place to ski as a family. Nice challenging runs with some fast gentle ones thrown in too. There are lots of fast lifts and many which are heated, which is a bonus.

Ski resort
We found the village really lovely & full of character. In the evenings they usually had a band or craft stalls & beer garden activities. The information office was good & staff very helpful. Walks around the village & beyond great, the ski lifts really good & you can go to different places from the top. Bus service so punctual & It's Free along the valley & further afield it costs Just £1 for a journey if you get Tickets from the information office.

The Salvenmoos - Keat - and Hexen6er runs turn night into day. Toboggan run: “Hexenritt” – 3.5 km – open day and nightBeginning in “Hochsöll” along “Salvenberg” back to the starting point at the valley station of the cable car and the toboggan rental.NEW toboggan run: “Mondrodelbahn” – 3.5 km – open only in the eveningBeginning in “Hochsöll” via “Stöcklalm” back to the starting point at the valley station of the cable car and the toboggan rental.
We were in March 2016. I liked very much. Especially children. It was fun and interesting. There is an opportunity to move out on a sled by two routes of varying difficulty: red and blue. First, the whole family moved out along the blue trail. During the daylight hours, it is a ski-run №40. But this route is closed in the evening Ski and open for sledging. In the evening, it is called "Moonlight" track as you ride under the sun (and the real in the sky, and decorative illuminated along the route). Length - about 4 km, calm trail along the forest, very picturesque. Then we had a red line - a steep, with lots of turns. Emotions rolls over with laughter. Kids liked more blue trail, adults - red.

Toboggan fun for the whole family and with friends. Experience a memorable toboggan day or evening in Söll. The toboggan rental "Hohe Salve" can be found directly at the valley station of the cable car in Söll. The comfortable cable car for the maximum of eight persons takes you within seven minutes to "Hochsöll", where both toboggan runs start. Toboggan run: "Hexenritt" - 3.8 km - open day and night. Beginning in "Hochsöll" along "Salvenberg" back to the starting point at the valley station of the cable car and the toboggan rental. NEW toboggan run: "Mondrodelbahn" - 4.0 km - open only in the evening. Beginning in "Hochsöll" via "Stöcklalm" back to the starting point at the valley station of the cable car and the toboggan rental.
This activity was advertised as a fun family activity at nightime.I have to say that I am surprised for how dangerous this really is.Not only is the sled ride potentially traumatic but you have skiers and snowboarders flying next to your kids.Be careful and I do not recommend it for young kids even if they're riding with an adult...and wear a helmet if you can...

Have been to Soell many times, but never taken the time to visit the church. It was like something from the movies! Very attractive, quiet and atmospheric. A very beautiful and peaceful building. The graveyard was an eye opener too!

MountainMind is a new ski school in Soll which is operated by some great instructors.
We booked our lessons with this school since our ski instructor from last year (Rudi Gstöttner) was part of the team that started MountainMind.
We payed for the group lessons but it turned out it was just the 3 of us in that group so we were basically having private lessons. I guess we were lucky since the school just started..
Mon-Wed: 3 days where we got instructions - very professional
Thu-Fri: 2 days filled with day trips. Rudi, grown up in Soll, has great knowledge of the area and has a lot of interesting stories to tell.
Rudi knew our 14 year-old daughter liked a little extra challenge once in a while so then he took her off-piste (safe) and through little Forests to give her the thrill she wanted.
The school only gives ski-classes so our son (snowboarder) had to join a different school for extra lessons.

The staff were very good and professional - prices OK. I was part of a CrystalSki package holiday and while I have several issues with CrystalSki dumping approximately 200 people at 9am on day one of my holiday to collect ski gear the staff did their best to help us all.
