This well preserved historical site was discovered in 1980 under a landslide while constructing a ring road around the village of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. The site was explored and covered by a building and the road was finished around the site. Book a tour guide who will tell you everything about roman country life 2000 years ago.

This 13 th century gothic church dominates the marketplatz in the old town Ahrweiler. It is a beautiful golden color and al out glows in certain lights. Inside there are pamphlets in English. The stained glass windows are absolutely beautiful. I asked, and they didn't mind me taking photos as long as proper etiquette is maintained

We had a lot of fun in this very beautiful climbing park. This parks for everybody who likes climbing on trees of 15 meters height or sliding down ropes between two hillocks of about 200 meters. Price is moderate (around 20 €/person) and your fun lasts for about 2-3 hours. Don´t forget to bring some stuff for the barbecue place right next to the parks entrance.

it is only a short walk between the wine field to the calvarie hill upon which this church and kloster complex is built. Along the way from town are the many white painted plasterwork statues of the statien with a short explanatory text.

This church shows the authentic atmosphere of a typical church in a small town in the Eiffel. It is well maintained, nicely decorated and worthwhile to visit when you are in town.

We wanted to spend a couple of days away and we like to play a little bit so, since Bad Neuenahr is just up the road an hour we went. The place is small but nice and we had a lot of fun. The staff was very friendly and we had fun with them. We stayed for much longer than anticipated. It is clean and elegant. Of course it must have seen better days but is certainly is NOT shabby and we enjoyed dressing up to go there. Tie is not needed but everyone was dressed appropriately. We will definitely go again.

This station is efficient: enough parking space, trains come in time and short walking distance to the centre. It is however a deserted area, not a place you can exited from.
