This island is reachable via quick boat transfer.
It’s 5 Euro return trip with service every 15 minutes or so. Last return is at 5pm.
Unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed. We had to go back to Mainland for drinks and snacks and had to pay the transfer again.
The island isn’t bad, better than the beach on Mainland. Just lots of sand flies...
I guess it’s something cheap to do.
There’s lots of food trucks and restaurants near the dock on Mainland.

Pretty beach with restaurants nearby on the shore that you can eat at. Also, you can use the swim channel to swim out to a nearby island, if you are adventurous!

We checked out this sweet little cove beach late one afternoon, and found it beautiful, if less sandy than some others, but offers a good amount of shade. The water is gorgeous, but is limited for swimming by a fair amount of coral reef. Surfers seemed to be enjoying the break. There are showers and clean bathrooms available. and a little restaurant. Parking is tight; there are a few spots in a little lot and the rest of the parking is on the steep street leading down to the beach. I think it's worth checking out if you are in the area.

Beautiful views from the grounds of the Fort. There is no charge and adequate parking. It is worth spending about an hour walking around and Reading about the history.

The small museum at Le Gosier on Grande Terre is rich in artefacts visualizing Créole culture in the West Indies. The beautiful costumes, head scarfs and every day items re a fascinating picture book of bygone era. The curator and her assistant go out of their way to show you around and to provide background information. On top they showed us an enjoyable film they had made themselves with the most striking of their exhibits.

An isolated area that is not a big draw for tourists but if you are wishing to escape the norm then a great place to go. Make sure you pack everything you need if staying to lazy around the whole day and no much entertainment or facilities close by.

that little beach is my little paradise , there's not a lot of people on that beach, hasn't got a lot of sand in the sea but that paparama is just what i like: simple and sweet
