There are quite a number of things to see within the museum complex, and not just the terra cotta warriors. This includes an impressive excavated tomb that you can visit, a "Liu Ancestral Hall" that pays tribute to the luminaries of the Liu clan (including Liu Bang, the founder of the Han Dynasty), and a number of Buddhist temples.
Tips: there is a small plaza in front of the entrance to the museum complex where you can get your tickets, purchase water and snacks, and also get a small meal. The very first shop on your right (from the perspective of where cab passengers alight onto the plaza) sells noodles, and there're three items with photos that you can point to if Reading the Chinese menu is not an option. There are other small restaurants in the plaza if that noodle shop doesn't meet your requirements.
There are also coin operated lockers immediately adjacent to the ticket counter that you can use to stash your stuff. Those lockers were being serviced when we visited, but the friendly shop keeper right next door will look after your stuff for a small fee.

This lake is devided into 3 parts, west lake, south lake and east lake. East and west lake is devided by a road and parks right up the middle. the north shore of east and west lake has great buildings, parks and sights on it and it also has a beach running it;s total length. South lake is the devided off bottom of east lake and this devider is a series of Islands and Bridges between the Islands. On a clear night there Islands and Bridges is a night photo takers dream. Beautiful Gardens surrounding the lake and parks, trees and sculpture lit up with colourful lights with the city in the back drop. The lake is very large and is like the centre of the city. The main business and shopping of the city is from 2 to 6 blocks north of the lake.

This museum has a very good collection of ceramic dancers and other pottery statues. Warriors, dignitaries and other statues depicting everyday life.
The main focus though is the 2 jade mummies. One with gold thread and one with silver thread. The information is not very helpful but the Exhibitions don't require much help.

This area is full of interesting history from the Han dynasty. I came to see the terracotta figurines, but the park is lovely. I did not care for the tomb. If you desire to entire any of the museums, tombs or other exhibits, a ticket will need to be purchased. However, the park area is free and is a lovely area.

Xu Zhou is a city in the middle North part of China and is now under great development. we went to he city in the. Idle of this year for relaxing and visiting friends. One night we went out to the Binhu park and it was so big and fully covered by green plants and beautiful flowers. There was also a big lake lying in the park with fresh water flow. You can even see fishes in the Water too. We had a walk around and found few traditional wooden buildings and corridors in the park, where it also shows the famous interests in the city as paint on the ceiling of the corridor. It was such a nice place for a short/long walk, or even having a picnic with family and friends since its beautiful natural plants and lawns. You can also get up early and do jogging or excercising to get the fresh air in early morning.

here you will find a kings tomb and visiting it was just fantastic. a stone figure display and Gardens. you will also find an scroll museum and unless you read Chinese it's not too great, but the cool thing inside the scroll museum is you can dress up in acient chinese royal clothing and get your photo....In the kings tomb itself, it blew me away with the design, workmenship and share size. The main advice I have is allow a couple of hours for this visit and it's difficult to findt a taxi from here. My advice would be if you can't speak Chinese to call yourself a taxi, prearrange your return trip to get back to town or your hotel before you go there.

You can take the Cable Car from both sides of the mountain. On the lake side it is really scarring if you are afraid of heights. You will be suspended in free air with a very steep drop down. The other side of the mountain is less scary. But the wiev from the top is well worth the effort!
