Ksurf

KSURF was founded by Yassine Bouceta and Julia Tsoi. Our goal is to create a meeting place for people of all ages and make the ocean accessible to everybody! We offer Kitesurfing lessons, SUP fitness/SUP, rentals and activities for children, like Surfing and skimboarding.

Julia and Yassine created a little paradise just at the outskirts of Malmö.
The spot offers pretty much anything you could wish for: reliable cross shore wind, flat water spots, waves, shallow water, deep water, a sandy beach to rig/launch/land, crystal clear water and a beautiful scenary - surrounded by sand dunes. I was quite impressed. But if that's not enough - there are plenty little shops/restaurants to cater all sorts of refreshments (shrimps to ice cream - all you need) and Yassine/Julia take care of the rest (brand new equipment for rent, lessons, etc.)
We are looking forward to coming back in 2017!

A good place to stave off the cold. The cafe serves delicious hot Danish lunches. With free coffee and salad. How decent!
The library is stunning. There are also two fantastic children Libraries for under 7 and over 7. How clever to split the ages. There's more than just books but hide out areas to read in and dressing up and a music room for the kids.

Links golf..In Sweden...Well yes..And what a good test it is..After opening with a fairly benign opening hole, the course is an absolute gem..playing as it does, across low lying heath and dunes, with very little cover..Well placed bunkers only add to the challenge, along with the odd water hazard..The 18th is a STUNNER..Playing as it does, curvy gently right ,with a large water hazard along its entire right side,,Swedens answer to the 18th at Pebble Beach.

The Easter, Halloween and Christmas decoration is a must see :)

Fotevikens Museum

Foteviken Museum is an archaeological open air museum that conveys how life might have been in a town during the late Viking Age - early Middle Ages. Aside from traditional Exhibitions the museum has a reconstructed Viking town with 23 buildings of different kinds, and a reconstructed Viking ship based on an archaeological find made in the Bay of Foteviken. The week following Midsummer the museum arranges the annual Foteviken Viking Market, an international fair that draws hundreds of merchants, craftsmen and Viking warriors from across Europe, and thousands of regular visitors.

This place is amazing in my opinion. It's a working Viking village with many houses built using techniques found in archaeological digs. There were several 'actors/vikings' who were busy at Viking tasks including experimental archaeology.
You can stay on site if you have a Viking tent and you have to dress as a Viking or you can stay in huts outside the site.
Really great place for people interested in Viking life.

Kungsparken

The Kungsparken is a lovely little park that is really nice to walk around. I went there today with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it although it doesn’t take too long to walk around. The scenery was amazing as the small lake was all frozen. Also, just a detail but if you like ducks, we’ll, there are plenty there and they will let you approach them as they don’t seem to be scared of human presence.

Oresund Bridge

Reviewed By Lavarcham - Poulton Le Fylde, United Kingdom

Being fans of Scandi noir, this Bridge had special significance. I hadn’t realised that the 16km crossing is only partly by bridge, the rest is by tunnel. The manmade island of Peberholm connects the bridge to the tunnel. In one of those pleasing beneficial outcomes, apparently the island has become a popular breeding ground for birds as well as providing a habitat for the rare green toad. The island is also home to rare spiders and insects.Win win win …..

I had a really great time at the spa, I had previously booked myself a "your time - your choice" appointment that I split with massage and facial treatment. It was really a treat, lovely ecological Swedish products were used and the therapist was very knowledgeable and kind.
The surroundings are the best, sea view and two pools, sauna and fresh fruit and water. The restaurant too looked very inviting, although I didn't try it. I have to come back soon!

Barnstensmuseet i Kampinge, Hollviken

Quite possibly the most amazing thing in Höllviken. I had been told about the amber museum but having visited yesterday, I don't think anyone has adequately described just how amazing this place is. More accurately, this is a shrine to amber created by people who are passionate. Worth going out of your way for a visit, even if you only have a passing interest.
