Lake Solinai is an artificial lake in the Bieszczady Mountains region, and is Poland's largest artificial lake. It is the best known tourist attraction of the region, with waterside villages. There are many stalls and great selection of good food and clothing. We bought some hot chips from 1 potato cut in a spiral yum It was so crispy and tasty can see it doing very well at fares or even restaurants.

Family owned Craft Brewery run by former home brewster. Great place to see operating craft brewery, purchase craft beer, authentic local products, great hand made chocolates and other souvenirs.
This a modern brewery and shop making a number of different beers. Six beers are available on draught and you can get a small taster of all the available beers with tasting notes. There is a large glass wall to allow you to view the brewery and the indoor and outdoor Seating areas are nice with quirky furniture and good art on the walls. Shop sells their beers and a range of local gifts and books. Beers are nice but not that distinctive. Small but excellent snacks are available.

Poland's largest national park, measuring 27,064 hectares, includes the dramatic Bieszczady Mountains, Forests, open meadows and a variety of wildlife.
For nature and hiking lovers it would be the perfect destination. For those who are not used to harsh nature conditions it could be a bit unconfortable. Be prepared for problems with mobile conncetions, with great amount of mud especially in Spring. Be preared also that there are roughly no facilities in the Park but there is a pay point at the beginning of every most popular trail. However, despite all those difficulties the nature and views are rewarding.

Ruiny Warownego Klasztora Karmelitow is the ruins of a Carmelites Monastery located close to the little town called Zagórz, near Bieszczady Natural Park, in the Southeastern part of Poland. The ruins are big, romantic, well-conserved and very beautiful. It is possible to go up to the tower and see fantastic views of the ruins and surroundings. Moreover, it is necessary to do a little and nice excursion (about 15 minutes by walk) to arrive in the ruins. A very good visit if you come to the Natural Park.

Solina Dam is very nice place to visit especially during so called Golden Hours. The view from top of the dam is outstanding. There is however one but. The dam itself is Literary surrounded by small shops offering trash souvenirs and places with junk food. I hate to say that but it spoils completely the atmospheres. You would like to contemplate the view, enjoy the nature but no you can't. You have to smell old grease used for french fries, hear the dance music...

This is a ride along disused railway tracks on a special 'bike'. Each bike is powered buy two people and there is additional Seating for 3 others. you pay a flat fee for each bike. Each tour you go in convoy with staff to stop the traffic at level-crossings etc. There are a number of routes between 15 and 18km and it is not all on the flat, so it can be hard work. You ride to a station down the line, where drinks and ice-cream is available for purchase, and then the 'bikes' are turned around and you ride back. Really great fun and well worth doing if you are in the area

The key can be obtained from the house opposite the gate near the road junction at the foot of the hill on ul. Moniusko. There is a steep climb up the hill in the wooded cemetery. Most of the gravestones are from periods long before the 20th century (back to the 17th). One especially touching modern stone commemorates those killed in Belzec in 1943-5. Walk around roughly clockwise to see the range. Put a stone on the top of gravestones. A beautiful place only made sad by recent history.
