Polish restaurant and vodka bar
Me and my family liked this place. It’s quite small, dark, yet cosy. We came without a reservation, and got there just in time to still get a table, as during our meal the restaurant quickly filled up. I am a vegan, but my family meat eaters, and we all managed to find something to satisfy us here. My mum had Turkey, and could not have been more content with her meal, as she kept repeating how good it was throughout. My sister had fish, and I found cabbage wraps that worked for me (I just had to ask them to do it without the cheese that they sprinkle on top). The prices were quite good – for the three of us, we paid around 180 PLN (just under 500 SEK), and we all had alcohol with our food. We also got a complimentary shot of liqueur after our meal.

Let us invite you to Traditional Polish Inn SKANSEN SMAKOW Situated next to the Kryspinow lake, 2 minutes by foot to the airport Krakow-Balice road, 15 minutes to Krakow Old Town, By the highway to Oswiecim, 300 meters to a ropes course and an off-road track. In beautiful mountaineer's cottage interiors we serve the most delicious Polish cuisine and can host as many as 350 guests.
We visited this excellent restaurant on the "Cottage Style Evening with Folk Show and Traditional Feast from Krakow" booked through Viator, it was excellent service fro start to finish.
Despite being a 15 minute drive from Krakow Old Town our taxi driver knew exactly where to drop us off when we showed him our paperwork, the open top tour bus was already waiting for us, clearly signed and with our guide waiting to book us on, the journey to the restaurant took about an hour through some pleasing countryside to a beautiful Swiss style log cabin of huge proportions next to a beautiful lake where we were able to watch the Sunset later in the evening.
Welcomed by the waiting staff and the Folk performers with a song and a nice "shot" which I think was cherry Vodka we were shown to our table along with all the other guests, beer, wine, soft drinks and hot drinks were free all evening on a "help yourself basis".
We were soon brought our starter, a traditional Polish vegetable and noodle soup with bread and dripping on the table, (I opted for just the bread dripping not being my cup of tea).
The folk dancers/musicians then started the first of their routines entertaining everyone with traditional Polish folk dances and folk music performed by an accordionist, Violinist and Flutist. It was most enjoyable.
Our main course followed which was Pork cutlet with potatoes and side, all very nice followed by a delicious apple pie and ice cream with more Performances by the dancers and musicians, this time with much audience participation.
After all that food the staff brought out the buffet made up with many traditional Polish dishes which I cannot really comment on as I was already too stuffed to try them.
A final performance by the artists rounded off a brilliant evening, we then wandered down to the lake to watch the sunset before re-boarding the tour bus.
The building itself is beautiful all made of timber, inside is very clean and comfortable, the artists where excellent and the whole night was enchanting.
We highly recommend this tour.

La Pizzeria Buongiorno Si Basa Principalmente Sugli Ingredienti Di Qualita E Sulla Preparazione Della Pasta Usando Una Tecnica Antica Con Lievitazione Naturale E Una Cottura A Forno Tradizionale A Legna
Small, and somewhat basic, restaurant doing the deceptively simple job of providing excellent, hand-made, freshly cooked pizzas and panini from a genuine Italian wood burning stove. The family size pizzas are a thing to behold. No alcohol and limited availability of desserts but they do...MoreGrazie mille per la vostra sincera opinione

We do not use semi-finished products and preservatives. We invite you to visit our restaurant.
We went on a busy Friday night and were seated immediately. We botj had the steak tartare which was spot on, absolutely delicious. I had duck for the main which was the nicest duck I have ever had. My sister had the beef stew on potato cakes which was equally as nice. The chef even made us our favourite Deserts kogel mogel. Great wine, attentive staff, nice relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to go back! All for about £60 too.

Arrived in Kraków in the late afternoon only to find the recommended restaurants fully booked. Liked the sound of this one. A short taxi ride from the centre and we have found a peaceful haven. Limited menu but that was far more than compensated for by the sheer quality of the ingredients, the careful cooking and amazing presentation. The flavours of the food were not destroyed by overpowering sauces rather brought out by complimentary components. Everything blended perfectly. Surprise after surprise. Discrete but friendly service. They have a vast selection of wines and were content to offer a tasting.

This is a nice restaurant but obviously caters for the wedding/function market and so feels a bit lacking when there are only a few customers in on a wet Tuesday night. Food was Standard Polish Menu but fresh and nicely flavoured none the less. One of the few restaurants for a nice meal in central Skawina.

This is a large multi-room restaurant near the railway station. From a décor point of view it is the nicest restaurant in Skawina and the food is probably the best as well. Food is the Standard Polish menu with few surprises all freshly cooked, only criticism is some slightly odd sauces are added to the plate but not on the food so they can be easily avoided. The complementary vegetable dishes and mini desserts are nice. Service good.

I have to say that "First" that the pizza is really great and tasty, but the service was horrible and I will not be returning, even if I'am in Skawina at lease 4 days a week.
On Sunday April 06, 2014 at around 17:00, my Girlfriend (Polish) and I went to have a pizza and eat-in. The first thing, the waitress came to us, no hello, no welcome, dropped the menus on the table and turned her back and was gone. Then came to take our order, no problem, but when the pizza arrived there was no plates for us to eat out of. My Girlfriend (Polish) ask for the plates and the Waitress said "there was none" (can you believe this) and she turned her back and left to chat with a friend in the back near the Kitchen. After I was told about what just happened, I got up, went to the back to her and said " I want two plates right now, or we leave and with this she gave us two plates, then she went back to chat with her friend again. To make this shorter, we had no sauces for our pizza and when we finally saw her she said, "Oh you did not ask for them, and that would be extra", too late we were done. We were not asked if we wanted coffee (had it somewhere else) and we had to get her to pay our bill, and to top things off no card service (no problem I had a cash) but she had "NO" change and my Girlfriend and I spent time going through her purse and my wallet looking for change for her. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, NOR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. The worst service I ever experienced her in Poland, and I have been a Business Man here for years.

Skawina has a number of restaurants but they are either Polish or Pizza and so a Chinese restaurant is a bit of a departure. On the main road out of town it is not in a great location. Decor is nice. Food is not great, good sized portions and freshly prepared but just not tasting that 'Chinese'. Service was OK. Probably would not be in a rush to go back.
